@JNT_BA any chance of us being able to move real players into created teams? I Created the Pasifika XV and AUNZ XV but had to settle for no face scans

I wish there were an ETA. Again, I canât really say much on the whole thing⌠Iâm still waiting for more ticks, basically.
Iâm enjoying playing it, there is some new Audio I heard in this one which caught me by surprise, you know those little things. I must admit I havenât reached the final of the top competition in career to hear if itâs in there already, but I was like ok, the 10-second audio was kinda cool.

Please tell me how to create a World Cup in the game. There is an option to create only a league, but not a separate group. Play on PS5

Unfortunately, customizing a World Cup is not possible with the options we have available to us.
I guess you could create 4 tournaments with 5 teams each and have the top 2 teams in each play in another tournament of 8 teams, but there is also no straight out knockout tournament available to us so those 8 teams will have to play a league together and then only could you have the top 4 teams go through to a semi-final.
Or you could just create a league with 20 teams and have them fight it out to make the top 8 that then can go through to the quarter finals.

@JNT_BA can we get any type of confirmation if this will be happening, for us to add clubs to real players in game, so that they feature in some of the created teams thatâs not in the game
Would really just make things easier for guys thats creating teams etc

Will there be a more cinematic camera view for conversions and kicking for touch? That zoom in on goal kicks and the scene cutting as the ball flies over loses its fun. At least let us watch the ball bounce. Kicking for touch you dont see anything. The ball is somewhere in the air and as the ball crosses the line it cuts to a lineout.
Also i hope you guys remove the aim arc in conversions? I like the new addition but its too easy with the full aim arc showing you everything. Just a general small line showing your direction would be great as it makes it more exciting if your game is close.
Goal kicking from camera and gameplay as well as kicking for touch in rugby 26 is very nice.

@JNT_BA is there any way you can change it so the ball spins in the right direction off long passes? Such a small detail but infuriates me massively

Ye would be great if different teams had different styles, so they play different. Kicking game could either be expansive or power though, so maybe âPower/Conservative/Tightâ, âExpansive/Looseâ, âKickingâ, âBalancedâ and even âDefensiveâ, which would also include territorial kicking, âAggressiveâ etc.
Agreed @Erratic, a shorter arrow will make it much more interesting, as you have to guesstimate. And the scenes cut too quickly in a lot of instances, like the ones you mentioned.
Also agree with @Plaasvark on the kick-off camera. Hoping broadcast camera option will change the kicking cameras too.
Also agree with the others for weather effects, like mud on the pitch and jerseys, but should depend on the stadium, as top tier stadiums have great drainage with little mud, whereas lower tier stadiums have heavier pitches with more mud. Should be a customisable setting in stadium creator.

To be fair I hope Weather immersive elements will be as low as possible on the to do list. Also sound additions donât bring much yet.
When will Pro D2 have realistic stadiums ? I mean I donât care much on the real stadiums, would be great but not necessarily.
Also when will you work on the positions of the players in attacking ? I still have like 3 4 players on open side, weordly organised with forwards on the wings. This should be a priority to be fair.
Also it was mentionned sometimes but attacking feels a lot like attacking rugby league style. I miss the pods, I miss forwards being in the center of the action, I miss spotting my Fly Half.
I know you guys are working heavily, I have no doubts on that but looking at the time it took to build unimportant things that nobody ask makes me a bit worried.
Still unexplanable why we cannot make a RWC tournament style, whatâs the point of having all national teams in the world if itâs not possible.
But working on stadiums that you want is somehow more important that anything else anyone else wants from teams who do their own things that are unrelated to game play, like audio that I even admit could already be in the game that I hadnât personally heard?

Sorry I was not very clear I admit. I meant that in Pro D2 all games are playing in Stade de France. It kills a bit the immersion. Apologies for not mentionning that earlier. Any ssmall stadiums would work for most of people like existing ones.
Maybe I didnât mention that it feels really great to see the great work in the database including stadiums. Not wanting to be negative btw

If we can get some instant yellow and red cards and more foul play also that will change the game 
also some set plays and skills 
and then the support runners to be better still passing way to much backwards and wingers does not catch up they little bit to slow

@JNT_BA Iâm convinced that nothing should be more important than the gaming experience.
If you can quickly and significantly improve rucks, for example, it would allow the community as a whole to be patient while other aspects of the game are being improved.
Only gameplay gives a game longevity; aesthetics remain ephemeral. Those who spend hours on the game customizing players or teams will one day get bored if the gameplay isnât up to the expected standard.

Is the WRWC update ready to go or is it still in progress? Weâre at the halfway point in terms of matches played now so it would be great if the teams, squads, and tournament format could be implemented for the knockouts, regardless of other development.
Exactly! Rucks are 50% of Rugby Union, so any video game based on the sport needs to get this right first. Six months on from release, I still donât know what Iâve done right when I win them or wrong when I lose them. Being first to the breakdown isnât rewarded anywhere near as often as it should be, and backs refusing to bind is just hair-tearingly frustrating.
