Okay technically not Rugby 25 but does anyone know what happened to Bears Gamer? His youtube channel has like most of his videos deleted and is called “formerly Bears Gamer” or FBG for short.
Yeah and as the RWC 23 format is already in the career, it shouldn’t be that complicated to replicate it in the Custom Mode or add it fully licensed as playable Competition…
It seems he also left the Discord. I hope he is ok.

Just wanted to know if the career mode is working I don’t mind if there’s bugs. But can someone reply and let me know if it works and if there’s a manager mode and player mode for career mode
Sorry if this has been answered previously but would just like help. I’m playing on PS5, and i was editing clubs, and moved players around, for example taine basham from dragons to cardiff and accidentally added jac morgan to argentina. They now appear for both clubs/internationals, but when i reset the players in the menu, it does nothing, and when i go to setting and reset academy and select players and clubs, it says its reset but still doesnt revert to original? Am i doing something wrong to reset it?
@Mooreo94 BA have restricted it so you can’t remove players from licensed teams. You can add licensed players to licensed teams but as they are locked once you add them to a team they can’t be removed and will appear in multiple clubs. To reset a team you have to go to that team in manage clubs, select the team you want to reset and then press square. This will reset the team to default and remove any players you’ve added.

I guess there is no career mode?
There is a coach career mode, it works, you can see some videos showing it on YouTube.
Have you actually tried to reset the team ?

You do not have to put 5 players in the ruck to keep the ball, I normally keep possession by just putting 1-3 on offense with the rare 4-5 to give time to set up a kick or play. You have to make sure you are pressing the pass button or you trigger pick and go quickly after the bind from the ruck by just holding the analog stick in a diagonal left or right position. But if you press bind like a mad man than you will bind many to the ruck, look at your opponent and positioning , don’t out sprint your ruck support or go out wide without ruck support, play rugby like real rugby, the ruck system definitely needs work and is still missing many elements but the game does allow you to time your ruck entry’s. Most of the time on defense I only add 1-2 , until I feel like I can create a counter ruck. Again, it needs a considerable amount of tunning, but in general the rucks do play out as they should. Ball retention has not been an issue at all so long you read your ruck support and don’t isolate your self.
Example: bind just 2 or 3 (means tap bind only 2-3 times) and then quickly pick and go or pass left or right. Also remember if you bind to many by accident (overzealous with the bind button) you can always remove 1-2 players from the ruck quickly on both offense and defense. Rucking should be a game in itself, and I hope they continue to improve on the system, the animations are there, just have to sync the mechanics better, and add more ruck infringements, like, holding the ball on the AI, hands in the ruck, not releasing, coming in from the side, or alligator rolls. I think the steal/Jakal, and counter ruck pushover should be two different button functions, or one be tap (steal/jackal and the other hold the button for counter ruck) so it gives us more control of options at the ruck. The ruck meter can be a guide as to when to use each.

Do you think it would be possible to import community logos into the stadium creator to put on the pitches? This would give life to the different stadiums. And even if it is possible, to licensed stadiums. It would be really great.

@Aussie13 I’m not convinced it will be this Wednesday. The patch we received nearly 3 weeks ago was small as most of the changes missed the deadline due to testing and came a week later. As these needed an extra week to be tested I can imagine the next load of changes were parked so didn’t get looked at again till after the bigger update nearly 2 weeks ago. Could be wrong, we’ll just have to wait and see
NGL I haven’t decided yet. There are lots of stability improvements around the sin bin issues you have been getting and some issues with replacements in formations. So there will be a patch either way. But may not include most of the gameplay things.

Can i aak you a question regarding the new stadiums on game?

In terms of editing Stats for players for URC/Premiership I decided to place this on hold. Until there is more clarity on whether or not a future update will change player stats if we already edited them. I think it’s better to wait until we have a future update to the URC and Premiership.
It’s been taking me over an hour to edit one team and as some of you have mentioned the fear of wasting effort and time to edit stats is there for us in case a future update wiped out the work we already put into the players stats for the game.
Also if you look at the current results in URC with form , it shows that some players will need to have better stats for this season and perhaps some teams/players need theirs lowered.

Thanks for the response @JNT_BA and great that there will be a patch in some form this week. Haven’t had much of a chance to play with the latest updates as been away but have seen some of the stability issues you mentioned in videos I’ve watched. In terms of gameplay changes can you hint at what might be nearly ready to go out? I’m really hopeful for rucks but appreciate you said you want those fully working and you be happy with them before they go out.
Rucks are still a WIP. While some work on that, others have been working on the Scrum update. There are certainly some interesting things happening with Scrums and how they work.
