Nope, there are still some things we are cleaning up with mauls in online mode that we never hit. So once I know what’s happening there and it’s all sorted, then I can see what’s coming in the next one. Also, a noticed issue of Steam isn’t playing nice in Cross Play anymore, so that’s another thing being worked on by the online team.
Still being worked on, been working on it for months in the background. I’m not going to release a new online mode while we are still working on gameplay.
Could this cause my issue of not getting games anymore, I have been trying every night since the latest patch, but cannot find any games, i am on Steam/PC version. Before the patch I easily got 3 to 4 games a night.
Potentially, going back a little, I am seeing some issues with connectivity between them in general, where it would shift between devices very fast against Steam users. Whereas consoles are the largest player bases, so losing any connections to PC means there are soooo many fewer players to go against.
Hi @JNT_BA …so far very happy with the game can see alot of changes from the start till how the game is now and some games is enjoyable so thanks for the work … just want to ask can you please take a look also at support runners if maybe that can be better in the next patch probably last one for the year because players are way to deep if you looking to pass they to slow to catch up and it feels so easy to go threw a gap with my players AI defence need a little bit more work cause its still feels so easy on the harders difficulty … also sidesteps need work I mean look at cheslin kolbe even if I know thats impossible to put his steps in a game but we need some work and we need skills and set plays in this game, this game will be just on a new level then … but thanks @JNT_BA
I have a suggestion for improving the player editor.
It’s a really good idea to have an overall rating slider to quickly set a players OVR without setting each skill, but the weighting is poor.
I reset all stats to 0 before bumping players up to the below ratings.
A 70 rated prop has 90 for most of their skills in the strength category, 85 passing, and 88 spring speed.
A 70 rated fullback has 90 for some of their key skills, but 24 for focus (influences a player’s reaction time).
When setting a player to an overall of 80 or higher lots of the stats go to 99 which removes all the nuance in differentiating players.
I would suggest increasing the weighting of a position’s core skills, and making the default sliders for each position more accurate to the typical attributes of those players.
For example: the 70 rated prop should have scrummaging around 70, and sprint speed closer to 30. The 70 rated fullback should have arial/focus/speed skill around 70 and scrummaging near 10.
For a scrum half: passing, kicking accuracy, acceleration, stamina, and focus among others should be far more influential on their OVR than rucking, and they shouldn’t need speed far higher than their OVR to balance out a low scrummaging score.
When can we make our own custom teams with the regular players? Ive supported this game since day 1 with early access and purchased another copy on xbox. Every update I check to see if I can create my own team as I believe that creates many possibilities and creating your own dream team is always fun. Rugby League had the ability to create custom teams straight away, surely this is coming soon? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Atmosphere is such an important piece. I cannot understand how this is not in the game, big hit = crowd roar (or moan), penalty against home team (some light boos) etc etc.
Agreed, atmosphere plays a massive role. We need this is the game ASAP!!! It will make the game a lot more enjoyable and will make you feel like you are actually on the field.
I still have good feelings about the game. Lots of stuff is already there. Some items are still needed an others tuned but nothing that can’t be done in my view
They’ve got a working list of reccomendations to improve, from this board that they’re actively ignoring at this point - over the last 6 months. It’s slowed to a snails pace - games doomed, it is what it is now.
