Issue is, this game is near end of its cycle so new players and kits will not be updated. With licencing, we are locked when trying to update teams so likely will have to create custom teams if you want updated rosters. If only the licencing didn’t block us moving players around, then it would get more life.
There is a created Mo’unga in the community - but yeah.
Licencing is great but it also means the game gets outdated so quickly. I have been saying for a long time now, we need someone to create a fully customisable game (focus on gameplay) and community will build the rest.
You can already manually add players to licenced teams? You just have go the manage player section and add them to the team you want. The only issue is you can’t remove players from licenced teams
Yes, that is correct. You can manage a licenced player and add them to the roster of multiple licenced teams.
But I have not found a way to remove them. There is a Reset option, but that does not remove them from the additional clubs you added them to.
In RL26, you can do the same, add a licenced player to the roster of other clubs, but you can also remove them easily when you edit the licenced club roster.
That’s the issue though, right? For example, ABs roster is almost full, and you cannot remove any of the old players therefore, limited in who you can then add. The team is outdated no matter how you try update as we need access to remove the players.
The best I’ve done where I can manage ALL the players on my roster is just download the Club version of the All Blacks and you’re free to add and take away the entire team and replicate the current squad. Pretty much you can load up the roster to all 55 players you like without any restrictions. You could pull former NZ players now playing in Europe to your Club that you’ve downloaded. I hope this helps.
Can BIG Ant please allow my line speed attack to do its thing and have SPEED on attack. Every time I’m on attack after winning the ruck or in phases of attack, my line speed on the pass is sluggish that even when my player does catch the ball, he slowly reacts to receiving the ball and is slow off the mark there is almost no point in the attack as his slow movement to the ball just defeats the purpose of ‘quick ball’ from my ruck wins.
Look, unlike everyone else, I love this game. Yes, it has its flaws, but the potential outweighs . However, what I feel everyone here on the feed are frustrated with, is how long it is taking to address these issues in the game. The graphics in terms of player likeness, better than Madden, better than College Football. I compare the player likeness to NBA 2k, UFC. So for me, you match in terms of player likeness.
If you could add to Game Presentation as in how College Football has its entrances or at least a Teir 2 version of entrances and maybe a similar Game presentation in Pre-Game where the fans are entering the stadium similar to FIFA or FCL (can’t remember what it’s call now)
If you add speed in attack where the players run onto the ball rather than jog, that would clear up opens spaces for the attacking team to expose the D-Line. If you allow us to have Attack/Defence options for the D-Pad and say D-Pad Left +O Tight Defence, D-Pad Down+O Wide Defence, D-Pad Right+O FB Drop Defence, D-Pad Up+O Wingers Drop Back Defence etc. That would be great and allow to customize the D-Pad for Defence would be terrific. The same can be used for Offence as in D-Pad Left+X and so on. Just a suggestion.
Anyway, please fix these issues, performance matters, especially in sporting games. They’re the foundation of what keeps the customer re-playing the game non-stop.
I think this this game could be great aswell. Ive played over 1.2k hours of it and to see rl26 develop as well as another game like afl 26 with a contact element. If they keep progressing a good rugby game could happen.
I like how you can set the attack and running lines, some of the animations looks so much better than R25, for example, fends and sidesteps. Wonder how it plays compared to each other.
RL26 has so much more detail, such a shame R25 lacks a lot of what their other sports titles deliver.
