Will you guys be attempting to flesh out the tactics system ? Would be great to have players line up in recognisable shape and run lines that allow us to put together attacking phases that actually resemble rugby union
Tactics are great and needed in the game, however, will rucks get an update? no point having tactics if you cannot get the ball off AI or they turnover every time you get tackled. I have even turned down retention for AI to 0 and nothing changes.

@JNT_BA is there going to be an improvement on the ai conceding penalties as they rearly give them away? and scrum penalties seem to be one way against me

Yes, even when you complete a perfect set of inputs, you can still end up collapsing the scrum, which is crazy.

Thanks for the update..but as you said no other updates just for the quick tactics…but will the the scrums,rucks and passing are they worked on to be better and work effecient on gameplay

Have been lurking on this thread for a while, having gotten the game at a cut price. Hoping that an update would magically make this game playable.
I know there’s a very small team working on this, but it really is a travesty that this game was ever released.
Most people on this thread have been incredibly understanding and just desperate for any crumb of a playable rugby game. It’s been out for well over a year and just isn’t getting better?
I don’t doubt the effort that’s gone into the updates, but it just underpins the fact that this was never fit for purpose. I paid £20 and feel completely ripped off, never mind those who paid full price.
Rugby 25 has an average rating of 1.89/5 on the PS Store. Has anyone ever seen a game with that low a rating?

Unfortunately, the main thing that’s ruined this game that I can’t unsee is essentially you are controlling the red circle the player is highlighting, and it’s all so animation led rather than physics. So it means the player can do completely unnatural changes in direction, and it can still work. That plus scrums being impossible makes it unplayable for me, which is so sad for my favourite sport
SO crazy there is no World Cup in the current game!
Seen Rugby League received an update with new kits etc. Nothing like that for us haha
