It does annoy me that you cant score a pushover try with a scrum or maul, its a shame this game does 80% of the updates Right but each action is lacking that extra 20% of polishing to really make it work. I think I would also like to see a set play system perhaps even a setplay editor would be excellent. Definitely need more organised ai movements when passing the ball
Canât wait till we are able to a sign official kits to any team wich would be amazing thing to add to the editing

I used to check this thread out every other day searching for news about updates or the team moving onto a new title.
First time here in monthsâŠdo we still believe in a World Cup game? Could be that @JNT_BAâs absence has to do with him working on the next title? Is there a possibility that all the feedback in this forum has been read and listened to and will be included in the next installment, including gripsocks?
One of the reasons why I bought this game full price on launch day (yeah I did) was because Iâd hope they would eventually make a good game, even if that means going through a failure or two, maybe three.
Thereâs obviously people interested in rugby gaming, even playing a remastered game with old rules and no licenses whatsoever!

They missed getting a good game out for the last Rugby World Cup (which still is not an option in this game!), letâs hope they get this next one right as this current game is dead. RL26 gets all the attention which is a massive shame.

JNT updates since the last patch â update and development related. Pretty thin on the ground
20th July - My team is here every day looking and reading. I have said what is still being worked on. Weâre pulling apart fundamentals and seeing what we can do. The full report of what we can do with the tactics system was only recently completed. While other small tweaks were played around with as well as new plays. Barely scratched the surface. This is going to be a long one. When there is something Iâll be here, that could be a while still.
11th Sept - Nope, no update. The tactics system is faster to respond to and change, as intended by the âquickâ, but thatâs such a limited thing.
Until itâs fun or a worthy update, itâs not going out. Even if you were to get it right now, all you would see is updated tactics UI to make it quick and easy. But the game would literally be the same overall for the most part, at a superficial level

I think theyâve stopped the dev of Rugby 25 and have started the 27th world cup Ă©dition⊠Thatâs why

I just dont understand why they canât fix some of the small problems in the mean time, whilst we wait for this update. Things like the ai holding on to the ball, instead of ever kicking it away, this makes the game so boring, you dont want to kick because youâll spend an entire half defending their 22.
The gameplay at the moment and the fact that they just stay radio silent, as lets be honest âwe will update you when its readyâ, is not really an update. That makes me come on here less and less and at this point im kinda losing hope with what could and should have been the best rugby game ever

Previously JNT has mentioned updating one thing breaks something else, which can point to a poorly coded game.
Honestly id expect the game to remain as is, then you wont be as disappointed. Maybe if they release r27 itll be a huge improvement, im not holding my breath though
I havenât changed my sliders from what I had set them, but for some reason the kicks go way to far and i had 3 red cards in about 5 minutes game time has anyone had this i also tried to turn high tackles right down to off and it still happens and whatâs worse is iân not actually in control of that player in non of the cases

I have found this in the past. Had really good slider settings, played 2 fun games then something changed and gameplay sucked again so stopped playing it over a month ago.
