As has already been said. Theyre working on stuff, its gonna take a while, when its time for us to know we will.
A timeline wont speed up the process, and if they have any issues that affect the timeline plenty in here will hammer them for it.
The start of a new season approaching has no relavence, i highly doubt we will see updated kits, teams etc

Agreed, working on stuff is not news. What is stuff?
Not looking to set KPIs, just looking to understand where we are, what is planned and we could anticipate.

Working on stuff is news. It tells us theyre still actively developing the game.
Jnt also mentioned tactics, and investigating what improvement/changes can be made to the core gameplay.
Thats what theyre working on, and updates on progress will be given when its time for us to know. Asking for news wont make things happen any faster

Were not asking for things to happen quicker, we dont really know whats happening and thats the point. The last message wasent clear.
Weâre just asking them if they are going to update kits and lineups for the new season. They must know because there either working on it or they arnt lol

With the 2027 Rugby World Cup slowly approaching in one year, I thought it was time to take a moment to remember where it all beganâŚ

Not Rugby 25.

March 2023 â The Announcement
Rugby 24 is announced.
130+ licensed nations.
15+ competitions.
Photogrammetry.
Career mode.
The Rugby World Cup 2023.
Release date: September 7, 2023.
And honestly?
The game looked GOOD in the office. 
It looked like Big Ant was about to deliver the rugby game weâd all been waiting for.
Everything looked perfect.
We were going to have the ultimate rugby game just in time for the 2023 World Cup.
What could possibly go wrong?

August 2023 â âWe need a little more timeâŚâ
September comes closer.
And thenâŚ
Delay.
Rugby 24 is pushed back to January 2024.
No problem.
We were reasonable people.
We understood.
Photogrammetry takes time.
Licensing takes time.
Making a game takes time.
We were patient.
We were mature.
We definitely didnât spend the next few months refreshing the Big Ant forum every 15 minutes.
The Photogrammetry Era
This is when we entered the golden age.
Players had to be scanned.
Teams had to be scanned.
Tours had to be organised.
And suddenly every international window became:
âCan Big Ant get this player into the studio?â
We started looking at rugby fixtures differently.
Not as fans.
But as photogrammetry opportunities.
âOh, France are playing Ireland?â
Forget the result.
Did they scan the front row?
January 2024 â Surely this time?
The new release date arrives.
January 30, 2024.
ExceptâŚ
No.
Another delay.
This time we were told about Early Access in March.
And honestly?
We believed it.
Because surely, after everything weâd been through, March had to be the one.
March 2024 â Surely this time? 2.0
March arrives.
Everyone starts getting excited again.
ThenâŚ
Early Access delayed.
At this point, Rugby 24 had become less of a video game and more of a long-term relationship.

And then came the moment none of us expected.
Rugby 24 was gone.
Not delayed.
Not cancelled.
It had simplyâŚ
evolved.
Into Rugby 25.
And then came the trailer.

2 Years of Quand Patch? /Gripsocks Era
Somehow, at one point, gripsocks became almost as important to the Rugby 25 experience as the actual gameplay.
We wanted:
- roadmaps
- better AI
- better animations
- better scrums
- better rucks
Big Ant:

And honestly?
Respect.
The Sleepless Nights â Logo Edition
And of courseâŚ
How could I forget the countless sleepless nights spent making logos?
While Big Ant were working on the game, some of us were apparently working a second, unpaid job:

At 2:47 AM:
âJust one more logo.â
At 5:32 AM:
âWhy am I doing this?â
And after 17 hours in Photoshop, surrounded by PNGs, transparent backgrounds and increasingly questionable design decisions:
âWhat a doof I am.â
We werenât sleeping.
We werenât touching grass.
We werenât even playing rugby.
We were making logos for teams that weâd probably never even get to play with.
And somehowâŚ
we loved every second of it. 
Those were the days (well, the nights)

Kelvin.
A name that needs no explanation for those who were there.
Every forum has that one recurring character.
Rugby 25 has Kelvin.
Quand Kelvin salary increase ?
Shep
And then there was Shep.
Banned.
Unbanned.
Banned again.
Unbanned again.
Banned for the 4,000th time.
At some point we stopped counting.
Shep was basically a seasonal event.
Every few weeks:
âWait⌠isnât Shep banned again?â
Yes.
Yes he was.
And somehowâŚ
He always returned, hopefully without craft bag.

JNT â The Saviour
But through all of this chaosâŚ
There was one man standing between us and the storm.
JNT.
The man.
The myth.
The community manager.
The saviour we all needed.
While the ship was slowly entering increasingly dangerous waters, JNT was standing at the front of the boat like:
âIâve got this.â
He braved the storm from day one.
He took the questions.
He took the complaints.
He took the âANY NEWS???â posts.
He stood in front of us while the waves were getting bigger and bigger.
Every time the community thought:
âSurely this is the endâŚâ
JNT appeared.
Still there.
Still fighting.
Still trying to save the ship.
A true hero of the Rugby 25 era. 
Bring back the memes!
