Maybe they dont. Maybe the license agreement needs renegotiating and theyre waiting for feedback from Nacon. Maybe they arent updating kits at all but arent allowed to comment about it.

Brilliant.
The game has come a long way since the beginning. I am certain that once it is finishedâbecause no, it isnât finished yetâit will be the best rugby game out there, as it has enormous potential. But the wait is incredibly long; itâs crazy. Iâm almost at the point of hoping you announce a paid update just so we can finally see a finished game. So please, take at least 10 minutes to reply to us; even if the news is bad and we have to wait another two months or more, at least weâll have a schedule. That said, kudos for what youâve achieved with this game, presumably with a small team.

Why would they not be allowed to comment about weather they cant get licencing. And if they dont know because they are not sure about if they can get licencing, then that would be something useful to tell us cause it atleast shows there trying. But instead we get nothing lol
Because its not big ant (the developer) that aquire the licenses, that responsibility lies with Nacon (the publisher) who also own the rights to rugby 25.
It doesnt take much imagination to realise there are rules in place that stop big ant posting anything negative about the product and that could stretch to addressing a (perceived) lack of long term support for the game.
There were multiple occasions during the lead up to the initial release where we had no info about the game at all. Responsibility for that does not lie with BA

Well its a community page. If its just us talking about how to improve the game and if its just us asking questions with no response. Whatâs the point of this. I understand if they couldnât talk about a new game, but so say if they can or cant talk about a potential update for the new season is mad.
Its not just us asking questions with no response. Theyve been incredibly responsive over the last 2 plus years.
Right now theyre working on an update.
When its ready they will tell us whats included in it

For now, as long as I see guys from Big Ant commenting, Iâm holding out hopeâbut I agree, itâs becoming increasingly rare, just like the updates

Its definitely time for a new game after this season. Its become very clear its at the end of its cycle.

I genuinely thought this game had potential, but itâs clearly a thing of the past, after all this time I really think we canât talk anymore about potential.
I lost hope long time ago.

Potential is still there. BA are most likely gonna be making the next game. And there newer games like rl26 and afl 26 look decent and have a lot more features and stuff that look promising

Could be. But I have no hope.
All I know is that they promised a ârugby inmersionâ and I donât feel it in any sense.
I just want a rugby game with this features:
- Gameplay
- Gameplay
- Manage international squads whatever you want (whatever other league/cup is welcome)
- Custom competitions
There are not any of this features in the game. Last one is close, but you canât make a World Cup format, there are not fitness, sanctions or morale in it (and injuries are random), so it is almost like playing single match all the time, but with a schedule and standings (witch you can do with a paper and a pen)

One of Two things could happen, big ant puts a good amount of work into Rugby 25 so that r25 becomes a complete game and from this transfers over onto the next rugby gameâŚthink about it, r25 work done of the game only lacks on field play. And big ant is working well to make it good with patchesâŚwill we see another rugby union game from big ant? I surely hope soâŚwhat do you think?

Well i hope big ant carries on making rugby games. If they continue to make the quality of there games better and better. We just need a consistent developer so we arnt starting from scratch every game or 2.
