A huge disappointment. This is the first Rugby game Iâve purchased since Rugby 08. Was fully believing this would be the one to bring me back to the world of having a Rugbg game in my life oh how I was wrong and how Iâm regretting the decision.
The gameplay is unplayable, just had a match go for 140 minutes as the other team who were winning just passed one out from the ruck, thereâs no fluidity in the play or momentum, you can be offside and no penalties, props taking conversions, be standing next to a sideline for a penalty kick and only lets you kick to one side, the fly half is pointless as thereâs no structure etc
I really hope thereâs some patches coming for this and we all arenât hung out left to dry feeling scammed out of our moneyâŠ

Ok so basically I started a career, there might have a problem with the transfers: In January, Leinster bought all top players: Meafou, Dupont, Jalibert, Penaud, Chocobares, Caleb Clarke and many more. And same for Stormers who bought Mauvaka, Donaldson, Ramos, Sititi, Boudehent, Mack Hansen, Marcus Smith etcâŠ

Womens was in the build prior to this morning, was literally about to play as the Red Roses on Xbox when the day one patch landed at 11am UK time.

Thanks for the release of Rugby 25 finally.
So far I love the visual presentation of the game and many licensed teams, stadiums. Really good job on full or almost full 50 man URC teams for the South Africa 
URC teams in particular. Pleased with Super Rugby squads too but some will need additional player creations to add squad depth from fan hub community and people passionate about player creation such as myself in the Rugby 25 community. A few super rugby squads a bit light on with player position depth. I just been downloading my creations I shared during EA this morning onto my PS5 console.
I know there is a lot of work to do in many areas with gameplay , bugs but I am confident you will improve the game. Everybody is giving feedback on a lot of issues which I wonât raise now.
Just a video showing a major bug for âCoach careerâ below. The starting 15 and bench will not reflect your team changes prior to any match.
I did raise a ticket this morning but really wanted to bring it to your attention as this makes the coach career currently almost unplayable and not enjoyable.
Thanks for your hard work and efforts so far in getting this finally released. I am sure we can get the game playing much better and more enjoyable in the near future.

Thereâs no way to add face scanned players to your create teams, we also canât move players to different clubs, or add players to international lineups because the "filter system doesnât work, is this a bug or is it suppose to be like this?

How is anyone even able to play this its not one bit fun because of how unplayable it is, sorry but people dontnpay money to have this disgrace of a game in the state its in how does anybody at big ant think this is acceptable to release then they complain that people are mad,its because every single game they bring out its the same thing wr pay the money and the games still need 12 months of updates to be fixed

They usually always do they did the same with afl 23 it was a mess aswell. Hopefully they bring out a few patches within a week or so its disgraceful its actually so unplayable at the moment

My game keeps closing whilst Iâm playing a game
At this stage, using gameplay structure from R22 could save this game and will make it great. Can then iron out any specific improvements.
Can anyone access Steam Deck now ? I canât get Rugby 25 to load. It just stalls and goes black once it tryâs to load up and then goes back to game steam screen to press âPlayâ on game Rugby 25 title page.

I have this on PS5 just was trying to get into Steam to share more players onto Fan hub that I created in EA.
They did not make rugby 22⊠so they donât know how the systems work from rugby 22. N match engine is not just plug and play it would link much deeper into the rest of the game. What you are suggesting is a complete rebuild.
A complete rebuild then, what we currently have is unplayable. Just my opinion, no need to get technical here haha.

Firstly I like creating content, so for the first few days I was busy with that, in between the creation I tried a little bit of gameplay and must say the strategic play and set lines, passing, League tackles, scrumhalf picks ball up with no structure etc. needs alot of work.
Also I have it on PS5 and since the last update last night (SA Time) the game crashes before it starts a Game (competition mode).
I donât really want to put more negative on the game and BA team as this is not really productive, but please we have been waiting for a good Rugby game for a while.
I didnât purchase any game from Rugby 15 onwards as there was no custumisation options. I really did like the Rugby Challenge series, even if their differences from 1-4 was not that big.
I urge you BA to bring out the best in this game (It has alot of potential), I liked your cricket games as well so I know you can do it!

I agree a rebuild is required and the current match engine is complete garbage. Just wanted to point out rugby 22 codebase is not really an option.
