Hold the kick button but make sure you already have the left or right direction set on the analog stick before pressing.
I dont have an issue making the kick across, the issue is having a winger correctly positioned/running onto it. I think the mini map could be useful aswell as a tactic for cross kicks.

This is so frustrating,
How do you fix one thing of the game and then another part breaks again.
Player places the ball and everyone just stares at him, this happend in two consecutive games where i had to exist and start again.
The 5 metre scrum from tackling your opponent back over the goal line is gone again, back to goal line drop outs. Big passes up in the air is happening again. This is really frustrating

I love the game and Iâm very happy with the updates! Itâs a small detail but itâs important for realism! The gameplay remains the priority but in the long term is an online up and down system planned? I think that would be really great.

Just on Stadiums.
They now can be allocated to any teams, Yes this is excellent. Thanks for allowing this.
THE NEGATIVE - Major Bug - I have had the stadiums come up in a custom competition once you start it. But once you turn the game off all the stadiums get deleted to the teams you allocated to them. I hope you can please find time to fix this in a future update ?
The custom competition will then have all teams hold their matches at Stade De France. This is particularly annoying if you doing a custom competition in other parts of the world such as Africa.
TIP : To bypass this bug - You can turn on Rugby 25 when you go to play it as normal. Go to all the teams you allocated stadiums and do it all again. Then once allocated, open the custom competition and the stadiums will be allocated again for some fixtures once again in your competition. Example below I did allocate Pretoria stadium and Cape Town stadium to South Africa and Uganda.

Career moad plays in your team aint progressing and in in my 3rd season 3rd devision players are reated min 84 all the way to 90. There teams are up there with france ect and abs. Ai progressions needs turnd down big time. Ai needs to start passing in side more and offloads plus more imagination. Im geting bord

What differences are you seeing? Iâm on PS5 and have received updates the same day that PC have received them. These have always been exactly the same as the PC version. Updates currently are every Tuesday and Thursday. PC normally the first to receive them as Steam processes are a lot quickly. Console normally comes through late afternoon UK time (post 2pm)
Can I check did you have custom stadiums assigned?
I know for finals it defaults to stade de France though yes
Encouraging you can now at least add created players to rosters, desperately need to be able to add licensed players though!
Very cool you can edit kits for licensed teams now too, gonna deffo try do the super rugby kids week kits or retro kits.
I know cricket 24 had licences for branded bats etc, do we think they might add different boots at some point? The generic ones are just so dull, wish we could add headbands for players too.
Mad dragon did his video review after tuesday and has access to alot more competitions on pc than i do after update on ps5

Big players get tackled just like any other players. They should gain advantage a lot more often, right now size and strenght doesnt seem to reflect on impacts
Defense: as said earlier, the automatic selection is helping sometimes. In the following clip, on the first pass, A doesnt select the defender right in front of the attacker, why ? And on the second attack, the closest player is the defender on the inside shoulder of the attack and even if he wasnt the closest, he should be the one making the effort to close the gap, not the defenders outside of the attack
Defense and attack would gain a lot by a more fluid player placement beginning from the ruck and spreading wide on the pitch according to the attack. Itâs very hard to defend IRL on the inside shoulder so thatâs why your buddy on the inside is supposed to cover for you, would love to see that in the game.

Just feedback on Ai Difficulty. Played a match playing as Rwanda 
(rated 58 overall) vs South Africa 
the number 1 ranked world team on Hardest difficulty - PS5.
0-0 at Fulltime. I just found South Africa unable to attack well to open up my defence , break tackles , offload , kick the ball to set up Trys or make enough territory or use attack variation to pressure my defence. Lack of support runners. Easy to push them back in defence.
Also, no one ever seems to drop the ball , hardly any high tackles or penalty incidents, South Africa occasionally got an occasional penalty and always chose a scrum.
I just hope we can see the Ai Coded very well in the future to bring much challenge to the game.
