W game, $100 well spent

Did anyone play test this before release? With how broken the game play, menus and basic requirements such as signing in are, Iād be amazed to find a single person who would say āYes, this game is ready to be made for sale and released for consumptionā.
This game is the Aussie sports version of ET for Atari.

Anyone know how to claim the 24000 PTC that costed like $40 more when buying the game?
Pretty certain it is. Played 2 quick games and ran into touch a couple times and chucked a couple of balls into touch and the opposition got a scrum where ever the ball went out of play. So that seems fixed

Agreed, all monies should be refunded. Iām also stuck on the stupid screen and canāt do anything.

gameplay wise post update its playing like RLL4 with same old quirky weird stuff that happens. nothing new but more stable than release day.
still alot to be added and fixed for $100 game that was not labelled a remaster.
EDIT - oop found another issue. six again called instead of penalty when within own 40m
EDIT 2 - I just ran out in my opponents 10m line and hand over occurred on 50m. still an issue
EDIT 3 - Jersey 6 is still changing to 7 and vice versa

Post Patch Experience (Veteran Difficulty)
Thnak you foe the effort so far, the game feels more fluid in areas.
Pros
- improved player positioning and no instances so far of players all converging
- hear some different Cam Smith comments
- Titans jersey update
- In match camera corrected to display NRL Logo right way up
- Increased instances of other players going into dummy half
- improved ability to get closer to defensive line and ball play/kick
Cons (still outstanding under ticket #32666)
- Some instances of waiting for number 9 to get to dummy half
- team bench players standing on wrong side of field
- Player attributes not noticeable enough (speed should feel fast and noticeable against slower players, tackle buster should bust tackles etcā¦)
- Need more emotive situational commentary from Vossy/Smith
Added to ticket #32666
- Ability to select field markings
- Ability to change match time clock currently only does countdown.
- Change goal kicking/general kicking to a similar style AFL26 offers (ie;target area narrows as angle and power increase - simple but effective)
- No ability to interchange on half time screen

I think there needs to be adjustments to other ways of making linebreaks to help with gameplay balance. The step is way too overpowered.

When i change player position like Leka Halisima for example heās āfullbackā but when i change ro second row and then save it and close the game and reopen it (PS5) i go check and it goes back to fullback? also ive updated player stats but never saves once i close the game and reopen

So disappointed in this game!!! Its like the temu version of RLL4. The NRL has come so far in the last decade and its so disappointing that they think this is fit for its fans who pour so much of their money into supporting the game. The videos got everyone excited but they are not part of the game we recieved. Rugby league 2 on ps2 was the best game in my opinion . Wish i still had it because rugby league 26 is the worst $100 ive ever spent. And im a recovered addict and have spent $100 on some really stupid things but this takes the cake.

Does everyoneās game still have the old version in the bottom right corner?
After updating on Steam, the play is still getting restarted at the halfway line when the ball goes out into touch. Play doesnāt restart on the line of where the ball went into touch. They gotta fix that. If they fixed it for some platforms, gotta fix it for all.

This is the same for me on PS5. I am finding after the update the ai on tackle 5 been shocking. Run the ball from their end about 6 times in the last game I played - anyone else noticing this?
I do appreciate the on-field sub menu resize! Thanks for the hard work, excited to see how the game plays in a month or so.
Yeah I just played Cronulla and on the last, McInnes and Iro were taking the last tackle kicks lol
