I’d give anything for sliding defense to work better than it does so far.
Does Playstation approve game “rapid” patches on weekends?

I had two online matches and was dominating. In both games my opponent paused into menus and left the game. Game disconnected and I don’t think I got a win registered. Online mode doesn’t even seem to have a tab to show my online game stats. Waste of time.

Quick Interchange doesn’t show fatigue percentage for my players.

Primary kickers are sometimes no where near the play the ball on the 5th tackle option.

The dummy half falling over the line one metre out from the try line is a joke, Would be good to have button to attempt to turn a player over or hold the ball up? or even condense the ruck when defending the line
I’m sure the bug/improvement list is huge!!!, going to take a while to patch it to an acceptable
state.

Hi all - contested catches when on the attack, I seem to be doing something wrong! Is there some tip or trick to it?
Tap square or x when near or on the spot. I keep pressing triangle lol.
Thanks mate, I’ve been trying that but it seems like my player does nothing - tried both X and Square and holding both at once! Nothing seems to work, the player just runs past it or stops dead in their tracks.. I’m sure I must be doing something wrong!
Big Ant are doing themselves a massive disservice with their tutorials.
- Kicking has contested catchs (includes bombs) and kick offs. No grubbers, punts, chips etc
- passing is literally just pressing the pass button. No explanation of cut outs or queue passing.
The game is buggy but the lack of support to teach players the mechanics is frustrating

Another gameplay fix
• when using a diving tackle straight infront of the attacking player you go straight through the attacking player
preferred positions for dragons players are wrong

Does anyone else give away a ridiculous amount of high tackles every game? Every game my team commits 3+ high tackles resulting in having so many suspended players.. yet the opposition it feels like doesn’t really commit foul play, very frustrating.

yeah you must be flicking your right stick upwards that simulates a higher tackle which leads to high tackles. i just click mins in for a bit hit so i dont give away high tackles

What is your team ? Have you looked at the individual player discipline stats ? You can edit the stats if you want to give them a higher discipline rating.
I’ve tried just tackling them normally without the right stick and the issue still exists, might be a Warriors players discipline stat problem maybe 
Suggestion what I have always wanted as a feature is in career mode to be able to see past premiership ladders from played seasons in that career or even just a premiership tracker or something not sure if this has been implemented already I just haven’t come across it.

Want to Raise a couple of points.
- How has a game this buggy and archaic been released at all, let alone for $100. I understand we’re not going to get the level of a AAA title like Fifa or Madden, but to not have made any real progress since the last game 8 years ago is a joke. Bare in mind that Fifa and Madden base game are also $100…
- With regards to gameplay;
- there’s no structure in the way the halves play, especially at the end of the sets, more often than not I end up passing to a lock or a forward to make a kick which makes no sense and seems super obvious.
- Hooker seems to never be close to the tackle and there’s zero momentum so if you break the line, inevitably the defensive line is always given time to reset because it takes 10 minutes for the hooker or any player to get close to passing, after the tackled player takes another 10 minutes to actually get up and play the ball.
- The set play system is non existent and results in knock ons left right and centre.
- Kicking is also very flawed, and it seems you either have forever or zero time to kick, this again is down to the positioning of the halves at the end of the sets.
- The biggest issue in career mode and any game playing the AI, the difficulty sliders are completely proken in Rookie, I can win 50-0 and its boring, theres no tackling opposition is useless, I turn the difficult up to amateur up 1 level, and it’s impossible for myself or the opposition to score. I’d hate to think what the other difficulty levels look like.
- Overall this has been a massive dissapointment for what I know was hyped up heaps in the Rugby League Community. Big Ant need to make some serious improvements and quickly, or offer people their money back. Its not on.

Bigant y’all dropped the ball. The game is not good. I can appreciate that some time and effort went into this, however its so clearly not in your lane and never has been. It genuinely feels like an early 2000’s game with a nice framerate, and ‘slightly’ less jank.
