I mean, if this is the place to correct people on things like you do … then it’s you’re … not your, stop spamming criticisms and insults and try to learn to spell?
Yes, this comment is as pointless as yours
@Jackduckett tbf that was me with RLL4 lol. I could only play on the easiest difficulty, but that was waaaay too easy. The very next step up was far too hard for me. Sliders would go a long way to helping everyone get their right difficulties.
Anyone know how this academy origin achievement/trophy unlocks? Have created players, put them on a roster and won games in a super League season but it didn’t unlock. Am I missing something obvious?
Rugby 25 still seems plagued with issues, updates etc and it’s been out for months. Sorry, when I got RLL3 it was playable from the time I put the disc in the PS4. I didn’t buy a game that needed patches and updates to play nor did I buy an unfinished product. As others have said BA shouldn’t be releasing games that are not finished products.
Ive gamed for a while and this is my first rugby game. I was amazed how short the tutorial was and the amount of controls they failed to announce. No practice field to choose plays practice kicks or verse a practice team was a bit of a rough start to learn the game. I’ve found amateur too hard to play on and rookie is too easy to play on they definitely need to fix the difficulties
Completely agree with Jackduckett. The game is far too hard on Amateur for what is only the second out of 5 difficulties. If the incremental jump in difficulty from Rookie to Amateur was just as much for every difficulty then it would be impossible by the 4th one Veteran.
It definitely seems to be worse on Side Balanced or other Side/Broadcast cams. Once you make a break you’re tackled almost immediately by the two players either side of the player you just made a break past. Real defence can’t wheel around and chase that instantly.
Also, take a close look at local multiplayer. It’s almost impossible for people to have a decent game with a couple of tries each. It’s just a defence-fest that has each player cancelling the other out, because when you’re on attack, the other human is defending against you AND the AI is also doing almost as good a job on it’s own at the same time and together it’s almost unstoppable!
Posted this in another thread in reply to career mode:
Definitely this…. game has potential and I’m sure it will improve with updates. No stats kills the career mode immersion atm. Had all the above stats in RLL4 so hopefully can be added. Total games played and total points scored used to come up underneath player after they scored. Or perhaps.could just be added in player tab screen like AFL 26?
Play the ball instead of a tap after kicking for touch after a penalty? It’ makes me think it’s not actually footy heads making this game.
Everytime you try and go to the line draw and pass the defender the other team knocks it down… but no knock on they intercept it and it’s their ball
The stats on screen are horrific and non existent.
The lack of team lists on intro? Why wouldn’t you post the team list… I’m sure there was one in rugby league live 1!!!
When I go to scan across players to choose in the defensive line it defaults me back to marker by then it’s too late.
Front rowers running the length of the field. But if I make a break with an outside back I’m ran down in 10m every time
Career mode- had me excited for 2 mins when you could choose sponsor set your memberships etc… then you start it and the lack of detail in emails you get and the so so so wrong salaries of players is baffling… even a good guess would of been nice.
No stats in career mode… I remember you had great stats in all the other games.. run metres tries etc and every team would have then. You could click on another game in the round and see who scored tries.
No dally M?
No actual story line- ask the coach questions or something/anything..
This game is like the one you can get on mobile phone. Unplayable
There are SO many bugs and things missing in this game but here are some:
No cheerleaders, cameramen, bikes, trainers in the game. RLL2 had this for crying out loud.
Player positions 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 playing on the opposite sides of the field. Apart from 6 and 7, the other positions listed are backwards in the team lists (1, 5, 4, 3, 2, 6, 7, 10, 9, 8, 12, 11, 13). What is this? RLL4 had this issue too. And why is every player the same height and why are there only like 2 body types?
Hooker takes years to get to the play-the-ball. This is a new bug.
Menus are hard to read and differentiate (e.g. Interchange). Auto interchange for the AI still only changes 14 and 15. This is an issue from RLL4! Sick of it.
McDonald Jones Stadium. Shadow cast for day/afternoon games is on the WRONG side. Hills are inaccurate with a few people scattered and standing up waving (should be packed with people seated and rows of people standing up behind the hills). It is listed as “McDonald Jones Stadium, Sydney, Australia” post-match. It is in NEWCASTLE. Retaining walls below the hills are made out of brown brick too. What the heck? And why does the away team run out to the flames? That’s for the home team only. Should be a, “Let’s go, Newcastle!” on kick-off same as the horn pre-game for the Raiders.
No stats in Career Mode. No way to see other scores. No NSW Cup. No Dally M leader board. RLL2 had this minus the stats from previous years.
Tutorials are half-done. There’s like 4 or 5 max and not that helpful.
Scrolling down team menu to the bottom doesn’t go back to the top. It goes from player 40 to 25.
Gameplay is nearly unplayable. I don’t have to list these dramas. We all know them. But one is the fullback not getting involved. They are quiet as the grave out the back. Another is the AI doing the silly drop/grubber that goes half a metre on the 5th or they regather a loose ball on the 5th and just run it despite being 40 metres out? In RLL2 they would bomb the ball quick at least.
Just don’t get what BA was thinking when they released this. We don’t have access to all the jerseys & will apparently come in over time…
Q cup in the game but no NSW cup. Very limited international teams. Like core features we should have to begin with aren’t here & we won’t see for some time
I for one am losing more than winning however on , Amatuer, Pro and Veteran and have found that not spamming sprint for every play can create better responsiveness from your AI players in constructing plays. I am scoring for example my last game on Pro I lost 24-18 .
I have found a better overall experience and more balanced when on amatuer level and only using sprint once in gaps or to hurry my dummy half into position. Playing it too arcadey can cause for frustrating experience. I use drive in tackle alot when I am doing hit ups as well… not sure if you have considered playing in this way…
I am/was too. In my last game I was pressing up way earlier then you’d expect to press it (a fair bit before hitting the line) and that seemed to have more success
