hi i just got the game today for pc and i cant get past the first screen keeps coming up with users signed out error try again how do i fix that
I have a related question to that. I have the PS4 version and just now I was going to play a quick game before going to bed ā¦ but I got the same āunable to sign inā type of message. It is currently downloading the newest update, so I figured it was to do with that.
My question, more broadly, is a concern I have regarding the gameās need to have a connection to the internet ā¦ even for offline players such as myself. I kinda get their reasoning, I donāt like it, but whatever, it is what it is and Iāll just get on with things.
But what happens in several years? Can BA shutdown their server and no-one will be able to play the game ever again? Is that even possible? If I buy a game, I want to be able to play it whenever I feel like, either now or many years in the future.
I donāt understand most of the technical kinda things, so this might be a silly question. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes Nuke, there would be no way to play. You donāt really own some games these days, you kind of lease them. Iām not arguing in favour, just saying how it is.

Yep we own nothing now, the only way to play classic games is if that classic game has active support.
If BA or Nancon ever become insolvent, RL26 and all their other games will go under with them
Fun fact, If you have a PS1 u can still play Jonah Lomu rugby today

Since yesterdays update. i started my real Career mode with The Roosters. Played a few games.
i feel like the game has a real momentum shift within games now. my players were tired, oppositon started making more yards on drives. they were scoring & vice versa for me. 1 error would lead to the game shifting for a good 10-15 minute spell.
Iāve waited till now to start my career as i feel the game is in a pretty decent place at the moment. few tweaks here & there and this game could be unreal.
Tip for markers offside if anyone has been pulling their hair out like me lol. switch to full back once tackle is complete. Markers dont tackle unless onside. Then switch to nearest defender when near defensive line.

Great post. Eventually consumer law will hopefully shift around this concept and it will be seen as the (almost) racketeering that it is. Then with any luck some very big companies will have to part with a lot of their pocket money to ripped off consumers.
Most people buying games today are unaware that in many ways they arenāt buying a game to own for life in the manner of the likes of Jonah Lomu Rugby. Once some rich lawyers kid gets ripped off, look out.

Just played my first game since update 1.20 and another step in the right direction. Saw a few lines the ai ran that were new and different. Had a couple of nice moments when my centre Crichton came in-field and hovered around the ruck. Try cutscenes cleaner going straight to the celebration and not showing the ref. Hopefully they keep adding new stuff and continue improving the game. Cheers

Will the Stadiums, Carrington Park, Central Coast Stadium, Glen Williow Oval and Sunshine Coast Stadium be in the game in the future? Those Stadiums arenāt in the game right now
Playing a game right now in which my winger easily outran a second rower for a try, fantastic! This is how the game should be.
My players were running with me in support also, not sure if that has been recently patched or good luck but it actually looked like Rugby League with my lock forward breaking away, drawing the winger and setting his own winger up for a 40 metre dash to the try line.

Update 1.21 - really like the AI offloading a bit more, nice to see them make ground other than stepping. Finding the AI changing running direction a bit more, little slight changes left and right, also nice to see. Have had more knock-ons/ball spillages from big hits, positive. Feel AI defence has improved after a long punt/kick chase but only played a couple of games so far..
Wingers and centres support play still very problematic, backing away from the ball carrier, 10-20 metres too deep.
Below clip should be an easy draw and pass try centre to winger on the try line, winger has 8 metres of corridor to work with. Should be tight on the centres hip not stationary behind the play.
Unleash the wingers, BA! Time to have some fun down the sidelines please

Just played my 1st match with the latest patch on coach career. Feels like a totally different game in a good way.
Really enjoyed it.
My players & the Ai are running a lot better lines, and are running through the big holes without a defender skating over & blocking it off.
Speeds of players look much better.
Love the way passes look when you step and pass. Nice & flat while players are trying to burst through.
Quality update for me folks

They should add/move quick play of the ball to another button like the right trigger.

They have now fixed the incorrect rule regarding change overs within 10m of the tryline, which is great. Still hoping for the short/contested dropouts.
Would love for the wingers/centers to come infield for a hit up during tackles 1 and 2. Make it more realistic. Especially the set play that they line the two forwards up next to each other on an inward and outward route. Replacing one of the forwards with a winger/centre from either side (ON TACKLE 1 and 2), would be awesome.

The support you get from your team when you make a break is much better now ive noticed. Always at least 1 man near enough to get a pass away to when FB comes towards you.
Passing seems cleaner when in those certain situations too.
Also actual running with the ball when holding sprint. Seems like you can kinda bend your run slightly when running across your own line into a gap.
Feels great in my opinion. Look forward to what they have planned in the next āmajorā update to improve it even more.

Would be good to know if in an upcoming patch we might be able to get season stats in competition mode. Right now you canāt see who the leading try scorers are and all the other relevant season stats. Nor is there anything like end of season awards players etc. Just stats for individual matches and man of the match.
Hope that is coming along at some stage.

How do people play this game online itās terrible.
Its bad enough players warping all over the place offline but you add this to online play and itās a disaster.

i may be blinded by my excitement that an actual rugby league game has been made 
I get why people moan when you compare it with other sports games.
Not the best but not as bad as i thought it potenatially was going to be.
i think by the time they bring another game out in the next 2-3 years (hopefully like Cricket & AFL) all the major bugs & glitches are ironed out.

Iāve been shocked at how good and stable itās been so far tbh. Probably because itās been ārelativelyā popular but most games have been stable at 30ms ping ish and itās not felt too dissimilar to offline play. Iām UK based if thatās any relevance
