I get that mate, I donāt ever play online either. Doesnāt interest me at all tbh. Although I want to start an online league soon Just no desire to be in it myself.

Agreed.. I have noticed subs stand on opposite side to where the reserves seating is, also noticed there is cameras on tripods and sports bags, drink bottles, spin bikes etc.. hopefully Bigant has intention to use these assets and animate the areas, ie; players on bikes peddling, players on the seating, coach walking around (or in the box), players reacting to play, trainers in the wait, cameraman flashes ā¦then maybe include sideline tv presenters that could even have short animation interviewing players at half time or fultime⦠so much potential!
Noticed there are Accidental offside penalties. Thats nice small detail
The latest updates have made this a lot better to play but still got a couple of annoying things Iād like fixed:

Canāt hear the ref loud enough, I want to push the limits of pinning in the tackle but I donāt hear the āHeldā call like in previous games

Defensive line doesnāt retreat whilst tackle is in progress they wait until itās completed and it puts you at slight disadvantage sometimes

No NSW cup or international teams is pretty annoying, even if they arenāt all licensed like in RLL4, the community could design the kits for us to make it realistic and then update the rosters so we have international fixtures
My fixes/additions needed in no particular order areā¦
1 - Markers need to get into position quicker by pressing button quick or better. The positioning is still inconsistent itās like the type of play the ball triggers the markers to move early and get caught offside
2 - Player running the ball out into touch when ball is kicked near sideline canāt be stopped.
3 - Play the ball speed button needed
4 - Warping tacklers need fixed
5 - Step and fend toned down a bit
6 - Forwards hitting the ball flatter and at top speed from play the ball on first 3 tackles at least without the need for selecting tactics
7 - Add better compress and slide defense for early line positioning, could be an option for assisted or manual line defense positioning if done right
8 - Add ref calls
9 - Add big hit and bump off sounds to give more whack to them maybe even quick instant replay of hit from different angles for added insult lol
10 - Faster top speed for backs
11 - Short kick off option maybe using bomb animation with more height?
12 - Defense advances more regularly and carries momentum forward a bit and is a bit slower to turn and chase when a line break is made
13 - remove dark filter from video ref replays
14 - explore ways to remove AI assistance where players can put controller down to defend
15 - Quick rematch option in play now/casual games
16 - Set time stays as selected without need to reset it all the time
17 - Flatter support play
18 - More consistent pass speed and maybe a bit quicker
19 - instances where thereās only 1 marker
20 - Alter defense slide speed to match player stat speeds to create more space variety so attack can attack holes more effectively. fatigue levels could also be a factor in this. Maybe just have them come off their line further and faster as well.
21 - Draw and pass could be added/improved
22 - Blocked kicks and charge down kicks if recovered by attacking team are six again to discourage rushing down kicker.
This is a quality comment. Game is decent but it lacks any sort of character. Have players push and shove a little bit, have the refs step between them, quick replay the big hits. Little things will bring it to life.
I packed a diamond EseāEse Tuesday morning and listed him up Tuesday afternoon, my listing of him says processing but has been doing that since yesterday at around 5pm. There is a current bid of 20,000 so why is it not selling him.
I think my biggest gripe is the selection of players in defence. It seems so randomized. Someone on the opposite team will make a break, and Iāll have an AI right behind him, but it wonāt switch to them so I can make a tackle. It does my head in.
Everything else seems pretty good to me at the moment
I think it needs to be made auto nearest player select first then button options second.

The video ref needs more close call animations like in previous game. No point in the video ref replays at the moment, you already know the outcome. In previous RLL games would watch it and replay, and there was anticipation, sometimes it was close to the try line, sometimes they drop the ball last second, sometimes it was out of bounds, sometimes it was held up an arm or leg under the ball, sometimes the ball was knocked lose before it was touched down, sometimes the player would mess up the put down lose control, you get the idea. There needs to be more try line animations of try or no try that you really do need to see the replay to see if try or no try. Otherwise no point in the video ref, will skip every time at the moment. Other option is to have us to play video ref, but there has to be some close call animations for it to work, I think the old RL3 for nintendo had somthing like that. You had the option to play video ref.
Having said that , I am really enjoying the game on Pro. Just frustrating that certain things that were good in old versions of the game are missing like a better video ref that really has you anticipating the replay and result. Not sure if ball strips are in the game? This should be a manual button, and if there is more then one in a tackle you could get penalized. It a risk vs reward on 1 on 1 stand up tackles.
Played tonight after recent updates. Game has gotten a lot lot better. I am actually having as much fun now as I was the other night playing RLL 2.
Well done big ant and I hope you continue making this game what it should be. Itās not there yet. But itās on its way. Not sure what happened at launch but it feels like something must have happened. This is obviously the game it was supposed to be at launch.

NGL it is not hard to do when you play Legendary difficulty ⦠feels like all you can do is tackle

I understand it is meant to be legendary difficulty ⦠but surely a tiny increase in the odds of a fend or even a dominant drive success to gain some yards is needed? 99% of AI tackles are dominant and normally end up having to kick on the 5th even even out of your half.
I like the recent update where the props were slowed down along with backrowers but unfortunately halves and backs are not significantly quicker than their forward counterparts and you can still have notable speedsters being chased down by forwards.
Also no idea if this has been fixed but a gamebreaking glitch occurs when you grubber at an opposing player, no matter where it hits the opposing player it is a knock on. Iāve had kicks aimed at the feet, head, torso all called as knock ons.
Also still the issue in coach mode where very few star players become available so you are left recruiting depth players or youth players but not genuine first graders.
Hey Lionmaulā¦using the tackle button rather than right stick for goal line tackles does indeed seem to give me more āheld upā tackles.
Iāve been keeping a mental note on the outcome ratio and I reckon itās 6 out of 10 are held up tackles. Gives me more confidence to defend my goal line.
Why is it every time I enter the game the clubs change from NO on Alternative Numbering to YES when I spent 5 mins changing them to NO previously? And it makes a weird prompt noise when hover over the AN option. Also, McDonald Jones Stadium still has the sun being cast on thr wrong side. Cheers.
