Thank you Big Ant team, enjoying the game a lot. Still a few things to work on but the game is fun.
Please add or fix
- Grubbers should have more distance when powered up, please fix this. Just add more distance to the grubber and a little more distance to the punt would be nice as well.
- Better and more try line animations for the ball being held up, or a close put down, the flipping onto back animation should not have a video ref, it is very obvious it is not a try, I am sure everyone skips the video ref because there is no anticipation like in old RLL games, you already know the outcome, I think I had only 1 animation that the player lost control of the ball as he dove for the try line that I watched the video ref replay. The game needs more various close call animations that you really do need the Video to determine try or no try.
- The ability to sprint after putting up a bomb, the game does not allow you sprint to retrieve the kick. Maybe have that if you holding the sprint when you jump it will be less likely to retrieve , you must let go of the sprint to better your chance for regaining the bomb?
- What is the button to speed up the play at the ruck to try and catch the AI offside or have them infringe for 10 meter 6?
Looking forward to the next updates, fun game. - One on one strips would be nice but if you try it with multiple tacklers, you most likely get penalized.
- When you risk holding down the player it should be risk vs reward, your players should have more time to get onside if you push the boundary to how much you hold on, no point in holding down at the moment, players stand around instead of getting onside, one of the more annoying things at the moment and holding down is a huge part of RL tactics. This must be fixed. Make holding down great again.

Hold the sprint button after tackle to speed up play of ball. If you do it constantly it drains stamina

ave not notice that you can catch the AI on pro offside by doing this, maybe doing somthing wrong. In the old game it was sprint to speed up, but it actually helped with catching there players offside. In the RLL3 it was jiggle the analog stick back and forth, cool concept but would break lots of analog sticks.

Iām quite happy to play games āold schoolā style. Like play from play the ballā¦pass to first forward either sideā¦big lad runs and hits up. Repeat this and then get playmaker to put his laces through the ball on 5th for territory or a bomb on goal line. But can anyone tell me what those tactics/set plays you can choose by pressing up on d pad are (like maybe as they appear from left to right on the screen).
In particular is one of the choices 'prepare kicker? Alsoā¦do they run automatically once chosenā¦or do I have to learn how to run the lines?

Odd1x did a great video on this and it really helped me get to grips with the game tactics. I do feel that I understand and play the game better now!

Yes. That said, itās not overly clear what logic is used.
Corey Jensen, starting basically every game, retired in the first season for me. Ben Hunt and Adam Reynolds seem pretty likely to roll on into season 3 at this rate though.
I wonder if any upcoming patch will deal with the lack of support when you make a break?
Currently your best support on your shoulder is the AI opposition. Also, the AI opposition can throw a pass over your players to theirs. We try that and they take it.

Valid take. The only way I win on Veteran or Legend is by using the exploits of chip over the top at the 10 m line or grubbers through the line and regather and repeat until I score. Iāve had one nice Try off a scrum to the winger in the corner and one nice play going wide to score as well. Thatās it. All other Trys are chips. AI defence is so bad and just watches a player go through a hole.
The palm needs a bit of a nerf, Iām ok when haas palms me off but having Chad Townsend run through me while side is ridiculous, that and defenders to dive on the ground to defend a grubber quicker. 1/3 of players I play against just isnāt fun. Feels like theyāre exploiting the game. Donāt get me wrong I can palm and grubber too but it feels cheesy. Gotta be a little realistic

Iāve been on holiday so not looked at the forum in over a week. World Club challenge is already on. Wigan v Penrith is the 1st season. Not ideal playing in Australia for that then 2-3 days later its the Vegas game vs Warrington haha.
hi i just got the game today for pc and i cant get past the first screen keeps coming up with users signed out error try again how do i fix that
I have a related question to that. I have the PS4 version and just now I was going to play a quick game before going to bed ā¦ but I got the same āunable to sign inā type of message. It is currently downloading the newest update, so I figured it was to do with that.
My question, more broadly, is a concern I have regarding the gameās need to have a connection to the internet ā¦ even for offline players such as myself. I kinda get their reasoning, I donāt like it, but whatever, it is what it is and Iāll just get on with things.
But what happens in several years? Can BA shutdown their server and no-one will be able to play the game ever again? Is that even possible? If I buy a game, I want to be able to play it whenever I feel like, either now or many years in the future.
I donāt understand most of the technical kinda things, so this might be a silly question. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes Nuke, there would be no way to play. You donāt really own some games these days, you kind of lease them. Iām not arguing in favour, just saying how it is.

Yep we own nothing now, the only way to play classic games is if that classic game has active support.
If BA or Nancon ever become insolvent, RL26 and all their other games will go under with them

Since yesterdays update. i started my real Career mode with The Roosters. Played a few games.
i feel like the game has a real momentum shift within games now. my players were tired, oppositon started making more yards on drives. they were scoring & vice versa for me. 1 error would lead to the game shifting for a good 10-15 minute spell.
Iāve waited till now to start my career as i feel the game is in a pretty decent place at the moment. few tweaks here & there and this game could be unreal.
Tip for markers offside if anyone has been pulling their hair out like me lol. switch to full back once tackle is complete. Markers dont tackle unless onside. Then switch to nearest defender when near defensive line.

Great post. Eventually consumer law will hopefully shift around this concept and it will be seen as the (almost) racketeering that it is. Then with any luck some very big companies will have to part with a lot of their pocket money to ripped off consumers.
Most people buying games today are unaware that in many ways they arenāt buying a game to own for life in the manner of the likes of Jonah Lomu Rugby. Once some rich lawyers kid gets ripped off, look out.

Just played my first game since update 1.20 and another step in the right direction. Saw a few lines the ai ran that were new and different. Had a couple of nice moments when my centre Crichton came in-field and hovered around the ruck. Try cutscenes cleaner going straight to the celebration and not showing the ref. Hopefully they keep adding new stuff and continue improving the game. Cheers

Will the Stadiums, Carrington Park, Central Coast Stadium, Glen Williow Oval and Sunshine Coast Stadium be in the game in the future? Those Stadiums arenāt in the game right now
