Yep the difficulty has been an issue for about a month now. Scale back to amateur and it’s way too easy, move up to pro and you can’t crack the defence at all. Lots of games ending 6-0 or 0-0 which is very uncommon in Rugby League.
This game came out in July, we should have these things sorted on release not months later.
I’ve been battling on pro for ages struggling for points and realistic tries but finally getting some joy! Ive totally re done every players stats and found the biggest help is to put centres and wingers tackling down in the 50-60 and fullbacks down to 50 so when that elusive break did happen they don’t stop me every time like a magnet, also nerfed every players drive tackle and big hit down to 70ish. Forwards defence down to max 80 but have made sure all players attack step fend speed is up so it’s all about attack.
I hope this might help someone else out, it’s a pretty huge effort I know, but can say it’s helped me finally start to enjoy this game.
Wow, that’s a full time job to do. Thank for the tip though, sliders would help. But really Big Ant should listen. I have never seen a game of there’s to go from fun to play with some improvements needed to not fun at all, feeling like it is on rails. Hopefully they will find the right combo again. Right now enjoying Rugby 25 more. Which was not the case a like 6 -8 patches ago.
A lot of this is because in my opinion the made the balances for online play. People complain about skill moves so they nerfed them. The offline games has become a slog and a mess because the online community like always wants to find exploits they can use to win. Most online players really don’t want to play like a real game of league, they just want to win. So they either complain that they are not winning because of x or y and then the reaction happens which destroys the single player experience.
There was a point when I did infact have some fun with this game, it wasn’t perfect but was playable. A week later it was a completely different game. I tried again for the first time in ages tonight and again it felt like a different game, I had no fun at all on pro. Every hole was cut off, my players speed meter evaporated so quick it was worthless.
I hope they give us sliders and leave them alone once we have set them. I want to set my game up and just be left alone. Please for the love of god don’t group different things under one slider. Individual sliders are a must or it will be completely worthless.
Hi is there a way to edit the rosters? I am trying to update for 2026 changes yet can’t remove any players from nrl teams?
I’m assuming difficulty wasn’t fixed in Thursday’s update? Unplayable as it currently is.
I’ve only played one quick game this morning before work, but noticed that Finals mode had been added … which is great. But the field-painted logos for NRL/NRLW Finals / Grand Final remain generically regular season Telstra Premiership. At least in the one game I played there WAS field logos, as opposed to no logos at all, which was the case previously. At least in my experience.
I think captain challenges are broken, I got hit with a big hit dropped the ball they called knock on so I challenged it, it was successful then when I went to play the ball it randomly come up penalty so they got the ball back 
I think it’s AWESOME that they’ve added Finals mode (FINALLY) 
, but THEY SHOULD MAKE IT SO THAT YOU CAN DO A MEN’S VS WOMEN’S GAMES!!!
Anyone else having problems with passing?.
It’s completely broken on side cam and now end cam has issues with normal pass randomly being long cutouts and that weird straight back wraparound pass.
Game is unplayable right now.
They should also change the Kick Off Times when your setting up the games, to BE THE SAME AS THE NRL!!! The Kick Off times should be (in order of Earliest to Latest), they can figure out the Time Of Day for these times:
14:00 (2pm)
15:00 (3pm)
16:05 (4:05pm)
17:30 (5:30pm)
18:00 (6pm)
19:35 (7:35pm)
19:50 (7:50pm)
and 20:00 (8pm)

Please fix Pro mode. The only way to play this game and enjoy is play on armature on offense (sometimes to easy to break tackles, but better then on rails offensive stuff on pro level) Then when the AI gets possession on offense (pause the game and change the setting to Legend). This makes the AI more challenging on offense but allows some creativity for the user on armature. Big Ant , at the very least add a mode which reflects this setting, so we don’t have to be constantly pausing the game and changing the settings. On Pro it is unplayable now. Not the case a few patches ago. There is a good game in there, the settings are just out of whack now. Or just give us sliders and let us tune the game the way we like to play.

Quick question: Does anyone know if / when the field markings (logos) will be updated to include NRLW, NRL & NRLW Finals & Grand Final, Origin, SuperLeague, International / Ashes, ect?
There’s already Indigenous Round, Women In League Round, ANZAC Round, ect, so it’s possible to have different field markings.
On top of side camera passing issues, they also have up and down wrong for choosing a defender in broadcast view in only one half of the game for some reason.
I was happy to wait for weekly updates to fix things but this game has been broken and unplayable now for 4-5 weeks…is it ever going to be fixed?
Only way to have some fun with it, while playing on offense, put the game on amateur then when the AI get the ball, pause the game and put the game on veteran or legend (depending on your level) (annoying to do, pausing and doing this) but the game will be considerably more fun to play, and its the only way I will play it at the moment. Wake up Big Ant and fix this, you had a fairly good game like 10 -15 patches ago.
It is a shame but it appears they have moved on to the next release and they are busy patching that one. Anyway there is no way in hell I am pausing a game to change the difficulty every set. That is absolute bollocks, there is another option coming and it may look like dogs balls graphically but all it needs to do is have fun gameplay, a slow mow kick, support play and some defense that is not homing missile like. In short all that Raw game has to do is be enjoyable. Who would have thought, a bunch of guys playing a sports video game want to have fun while doing it.
I do lots of career mode rebuilds and stuff but it sucks that I cant use my academy players as much or well the ones that have been scouted because their names dont appear on the back of the shirts and its not realistic, please add this feature or it may be a bug. I am talking about super league and also when a club from the championship or league one gets promoted to super league, can u add the feature like on the back of the shirt like clubs do in super league so its not just one club in super league where the back is different with no name.
