Quick question: Does anyone know if / when the field markings (logos) will be updated to include NRLW, NRL & NRLW Finals & Grand Final, Origin, SuperLeague, International / Ashes, ect?
There’s already Indigenous Round, Women In League Round, ANZAC Round, ect, so it’s possible to have different field markings.
On top of side camera passing issues, they also have up and down wrong for choosing a defender in broadcast view in only one half of the game for some reason.
Only way to have some fun with it, while playing on offense, put the game on amateur then when the AI get the ball, pause the game and put the game on veteran or legend (depending on your level) (annoying to do, pausing and doing this) but the game will be considerably more fun to play, and its the only way I will play it at the moment. Wake up Big Ant and fix this, you had a fairly good game like 10 -15 patches ago.
It is a shame but it appears they have moved on to the next release and they are busy patching that one. Anyway there is no way in hell I am pausing a game to change the difficulty every set. That is absolute bollocks, there is another option coming and it may look like dogs balls graphically but all it needs to do is have fun gameplay, a slow mow kick, support play and some defense that is not homing missile like. In short all that Raw game has to do is be enjoyable. Who would have thought, a bunch of guys playing a sports video game want to have fun while doing it.
I do lots of career mode rebuilds and stuff but it sucks that I cant use my academy players as much or well the ones that have been scouted because their names dont appear on the back of the shirts and its not realistic, please add this feature or it may be a bug. I am talking about super league and also when a club from the championship or league one gets promoted to super league, can u add the feature like on the back of the shirt like clubs do in super league so its not just one club in super league where the back is different with no name.
I can tell a difference with the sliders, only trouble will be the time taken to fine tune them and the experimenting required. I hope Odd1x drops a video on it tomorrow which explains the different sliders and which way to tune them for your desired results.
Fair point, I also struggled finding out what sliders did what tbh! I just know when I put defensive aggression all the way down my players could jog through!
I have been playing around and feel close to getting somewhere. Right now I think the base modifier does more than just change some of the sliders. It seems to give you things outside of the sliders if that makes sense, so you can for example make the defense aggression 0, yet keep the base on legend. Seems to make the general AI play better, go for 40/20s and string passes together.
While you can also put your base for skill moves on armature to keep the timing and potential for missed tackles higher but drop the percentages of success for some of the moves. I also put passing on rookie and have offload timer set to .5 seconds.
with something like the above I have gotten some where but will need to do more balancing as I have started winning too easy. I think more sliders would be helpful, I personally would like to be able to speed the ball up on the pass. Also they still need to fix support play and player movement in general. If they fix that, the game could be saved from here.
