I remember that, i think i was a forward. Really keen on this game.
I canât remember my game either. Do they still exist?
Crazy that Ross thinks that posting that is a good thing for consumers. There is teasing and then there is just annoyance. Very little has been confirmed or posted online and to tweet that is meh for mine. But those that are ânewâ will jump right in.
He did reapond to someone on that thread that a trailer is coming but why theyâd wait so long almost on top of the release date doesnât make sense to me.
Didnt know the league themselves had say over the trailer. Interesting.
As i understand it, it is because the league is the intellectual property rights owner to be used commercially and corporately.
It will be interesting to see whether this game leans more toward RLL3, RLL4 or a totally new feel in direction. Personally hoping to see a new feel in gameplay, maybe just a little bit looser than RLL4 but not as much of an arcade offload fest as RLL3. Some new mechanics in there would be a nice cherry on top too.
50% pumped for this game 50% cautious
Thats a great blended idea âŚsomething that does the good things out of both RLL3 and RLL4 would be a good foundation coupled with sliders, then build it up from thereâŚi like it.
I used to say back in the day a game of league has never been made that had realistic field size vs players, fifa started to get it right and it opened up gameplay. If a game can be made where a player canât easily cover 10metres of space (cos they canât in reality) then it would be interesting.
Not to mention, props should be slow, wingers should be fast. Make it so.
maybe Super League will give us something on tonights tv match - Leigh v Wigan?
Think Ross hinted at a sl trailer this weekend
Anyone know if you can make late changes to your team before kick off, details matter!!!
How long does it take a winger in RLL4 to run the length of the field?
The same as it takes most other players. Itâs not about how fast the wingers are, itâs about how slow the other players arenât.
Man, took me too long to figure out how to make a post .
Anyway, long time lurker from back in the RL2 Sidhe days through to RLL4 (and Cricket). Was there for the Ross vs Mario battle, as mentioned by others, I do remember a lot of us backing Mario for a while, how dare this new guy come in and take our game. All we wanted back then was RL3 (WII) on our PCs and consoles but it got pretty silly in the end. I understood a bit of Marioâs frustration, having people discuss/promote someone elses game on his forum, because it did take Big Ant a while to setup their forums.
I took part in the many, many failed RLL2 online comps. Having to re-do the player drafts over and over after 3-4 rounds of games when someone would drop out. I never meant to be sneaky or underhanded, but I do remember one of my trades causing a stir and bringing in the rule âyou canât trade a tradeâ when i traded Jarrod Mullen for Jarryd Hayne, then traded Hayne for someone else and the guy who had the Eels got upset.
Anyway, super pumped. Time to rebuild the Knights to their former glory (again) since itâs all Iâve been doing since RL2 in 05. Itâs been a lean 20 years.
Recognise a lot of old names, good to be back.
Will The Betfred Championship ( Lower Division to Betfred Super League) be in Rugby League 26 ?
There was a game released on the PS2 back in 2004 named âWorld Championship Rugbyâ that nailed the speed difference between the backs and forwards. The players all seemed to move at a great pace which made the gameplay feel smooth and well-paced.
Iâm hoping Rugby league 26 will feel similar.
Exactly goose. They donât need to make major gameplay changes, they just need to work on physics and get the spacing right. Itâs also something that shouldnât cost a lot to experiment with, gameplay vision will help a lot. Hopefully not all cut scenes
