Like the ratings actually have a difference on annythjng anyway. They wonât. They are just numbers. I bet props still run at unrealistic speeds and the game as a whole moves like touch footy.

Hey mate, what legends can you unlock in AFL. Any 90s dudes like Plugger or just more recent retirees? Keen for the league legends but im thinking the rights to them may be to hard for bigant.
Feel like a boomer asking this because I donât know a lot about current gen gaming, I last owned a ps4 like 2020 but this new handheld Xbox thatâs coming out or stem deck(no clue what that is but heard bout it) - will RL26 be playable on one of them? Considering buying one just for this lol

any word if it will be available in the USA? its not up for preorder on PlayStation store and no retailers are getting physical copies. we got AFL digital so i couldnt imagine it no but who knows.

Hey mate, itâs a bit of a mixed bag at the moment. A lot of them are current coches/assistants (eg. Michael Voss) and recent retirees with the odd older one thrown in. (Peter Bosustow, Sav Rocca). Iâm guessing that most of them need some type of individual agreement but not 100% sure. I would guess thereâs some sort of past players association but licence negotiation may be a bit more difficult there?
Itâs a shame that Tru Blu held the earlier licence from 2010 otherwise thereâs potentially 100âs of players from that era that could be added as well.
Iâm sure it will build over time though.

Hey guys, long time, I see yesterday that was an event at NRL HQ, a bunch of NRL creators went and from what I can see alot of them got face scanned.
Will these people be playable in game? I planned on making a bunch of these guys in the fan hub, but if theyâre already in the game I wonât bother

Itâs funny to see after all these years that the marketing and social media presence of bigant is so bad lol. Showing a 20 second video of freddy holding a controller saying content will drop over âthe next dayâ.
Elaborate way to say, youâll see nothing until you have the game. Whether itâs good or not.

Why is Hughes card purple, no one noticed that one. Must be a mistake right?
These ratings are ridiculous though and have found from leaks they are heavily copying FIFA , even the menu colour is black and green.
Couldnât be any more obvious. The card look and the rating styles are very similar. Not a fan of how many high rated players there are but we will see

I wish there were a mini-game when making contact in the tackle for the attacker and defender, even if itâs just a matter of tapping a button or pointing the analog stick in a direction to drive or drag a player.
Ball strips should be utilized to the full potential and an option to drop players from a 2&3 man tackle to attempt a strip would make defending less tedious.
Bring back mid/low tackling!
A lot of emphasis on the gameplay has been placed on the attack, but Iâm hoping the defending is more than just controlling a player and then running at the ball carrier.
Payne Haas coming in at 92. Damn these ratings are too high and doesnt leave much improvement for the legends cards..
Itâs probs going to be difficult to get these cards in pro team.
All these player stats theyâre releasing are pointess (for myself) IF the game is going to be like any other BA game ever released. RLL4 I edited every player individually (a lot of time in the fan hub but well worth it) to get a decent game of footy eg. Editing pace stats, editing fend and sidestep sub 75 so they werenât op, editing pass and strength 95+ etc. Expecting RL26 to be the same but also very curious to see how it also plays âout of the boxâ. Will give it a good chance.
Going off AFL26, I expect kicking and ball physics to be greatly improved.
Hoping the AI is solid and the AI fullback doesnât carry the ball over the sideline after nearly every kick!
Interested to see if a sense of momentum is implemented this time around and if weâll see a jagged defensive line after a line break, would be nice to have the field open up properly with players unable to get back onside.

I donât fully believe in the itâs the NRLs decision to release content excuse. Itâs not an NRL game itâs a rugby league game, so why not release footage of the Super League? Unless they also conveniently decide when to release footage as well.
