Yep, without these there’s no longevity to the mode. Less features than a game on last gen that’s 8 years old

Really your still photo only shows a clear obstruction if anything with the decoy runner taking out the inside shoulder lol we havent even mentioned this yet but im not here to argue just stating my opinions on the game you seem to be one of 5? people enjoying the game out of 110,000 kudos to you truly i just dont see many professional games where attacking 3 v 4 corridors are getting exploited like this game, capewell marks the decoy munster has the ball ball receiver and the out the back play is easily covered, if munster makes the weing move its still covered evenly. Just my thoughts but genuinely if youre having fun good for you all the best
Idk if you play league there’s always 2 in a tackle mate even 3 lol was a simple draw and pass this happens IRL can tell you don’t play league plus I had Nathan cleary by the winger as well like this is dumb cause I can’t send a video

Cause people have problems like kicking the ball or the defenders rush upto quick I’m not having theses problems just a skill issue and the only problem I have is the op step, fend, dummy half not passing and the ai not setting up set plays quickly enough plus it’s still janky ASF with the animations and I only got this game for the pro team which isn’t even working properly ATM but it works better then rugby challenge 4 and rugby 25 that’s a positive imo and yet it’s definitely not worth 100 odd bucks lol it’s just a remastered league live 4
100% agree mate! The fact stats are missing is such a huge over site, unforgivable.
i am expecting updates for the superleague i am not a superleague fan but seeing a nrl ball in superleague is wrong and make it so we can create a club in coach career and let us use old jerseys play classic matches and when the nrl introduces the perth bears put them in it same as papu new guine im probably spelling it wrong png
Okay I know this is 3 days old but I have to address this as I see three things constantly repeated and some are demanding their money back because ‘such and such’ feature isn’t in the game.
Remember back when RLL was being released and Big Ants hands were tied with what they could do with the game as they had to bow down to TruBlue? They are in the same position here. It has taken years for the National Rugby League to act, to greenlight a new game - Big Ant are restricted to what the NRL approve in their game.
NSW Cup
Word is there was issues with certain team(s) in the NSWRL which is why they are not featured in the game, an issue the NRL and BA are still working on solving. QRL and their teams were on board hence why they are in it.
International Teams
Quite obviously this is a DLC later in the year for the Pacific Championship and tours that happen. At the moment there are many players considering switching the country they play for - once the NRL season is over bet there will probably be a DLC for internationals to keep up playing over the off season.
Custom Competitions
No where was it mentioned they were offering custom competitions - where we can have up to 20 teams. This is a want by the players. People demanding BA add it to the game. Anyone thought that maybe the NRL have said NO to that? That the NRL don’t want us to be able to add the Perth Bears and the PNG into our competitions because the NRL are now cash focused, and therefore would be eying off an annual or bi-annual game/update packs that will add these teams into it.
Are there basic things in the game that I don’t think have to do with the NRL/SL missing? Yes. Off course there is, but BA do at least continue to work on their games, release patches and try to fix issues they have to try to make it as enjoyable to RL enthusiasts as well as the every day casual gamer to pick up and play/try.
But with some of the complaints we truly have to ask ourselves whether it is the NRL not greenlighting or wanting certain aspects put in. After all while we believe this is OUR game and we want it to be as perfect to how we want it, at the end fo the day BA still have to make the NRL happy to ensure they can continue to develop the game (future games).
I completed the hp battle in the coach battles and they added a new one and I still haven’t got my reward? Any fixes?
Pro Teams is going to be my played game mode. Its missing content to survive currently though. A few idea’s I’d like to see introduced ASAP to keep this game mode alive:
Special Edition Cards:
- Rookie of the year contenders (Iongi, Toia, Halasima…)
- State of Origin Heros (Munster, Dearden, To’o, Haas)
- Legends of the Game (Meninga, Andrew Johns, Laurie Daily)
- Future Starts (Metcalf, Sharpe, Karapani, Galvin)
Live challenges with unique rewards:
- Win 15 games with a Wests Tigers captain to unlock Club Legend Benji Marshall
- Score 25 tries with second rowers to unlock try scoring machine Steve Menzies
- Score 50 tries with Alex Johnson to unlock All Time edition with improved stats
You need to release O before you kick the ball. You cannot hold the O button down when your player is literally about to kick it. You need to release the O button just before he kicks it or hold it in for two seconds or so. But you CANNOT keep holding an o until the still goal is taking you have to really sit early before the ball is kicked. It took me a while to figure out that one
Big Ant a suggestion there’s a problem in the game with last play kicking it’s far too easy for defenders to rush the kicker with charge downs working most of the time & then it being called knockon. To fix this a idea would be the kicking action triggering a slow motion play in order for kickers to get off the kick & slowing defenders from charging down every play. A way to implement this better would be to have more time for better halfbacks/5eighths and less for lower tiers, put every players kicking down except halfbacks so slow motion triggers only for kickers & duration of that slow motion is longer for better kickers say a cleary for example & faster expiration of slow motion for less skilled halfback kickers like a blaize talagi. Other positional players like wingers could still have grubber kicking stats exceptions could be a crichton or doueihi who are known to be good general play kickers also. This would add fluidity,realism & another layer to the game cheers
One way I get around this atm is not to push forward on the direction button at all until your half has received the pass. Push LT first after receiving the pass, then A (Xbox) and then when you move the direction button you stand still for the kick and the defenders don’t ever get to you.
Only problem is that it seems like a bug rather than a feature as they really don’t engage the kicker at all.
But should work as an interim fix for you to get your kicks away.
