Oh man, I neeeeeed that Keith Crows old school logo (minus the Keith bit). That brings back so many memories and could make an awesome ‘retro’ jumper for the Crom
Slowly but surely creating more leagues from across South Australia.
Next up is the River Murray League which now encompasses a massive area between Murray Bridge and Pinnaroo after the demise of the Mallee Football League and the merger of various former Mallee League teams.
First team is the Coorong Cats who saw the writing on the wall and left the Mallee League a year before it folded. The cats came from a merger of Border downs Tintinara and Meningie.

Southern Mallee Suns is another merged team fromt he former Mallee FL with the Pinnaroo Suparoos and Lameroo Hawks coming together.
Nice part of the world, last time I stopped in Pinnaroo was on the bus trip abck fromt he SANFL Granny this year.

Quite the confusion was caused though as there was a Mallee FL in both Victoria and another one in South Australia. Until very recently, there was a Southern Mallee Giants (VIC) and a Southern Mallee Suns (SA). The Souther Mallee Giants (VIC) merged with the JR Storm to form the Malle Thunder (VIC) which happen to wear the same guernsey colours as the Mallee Districts Storm which is in this league.
