Struggling with these things (on Easy difficulty) is definitely a skill thing, given most on here can do them successfully on Hard+.
Not saying there aren’t bugs in the game, but not being able to mark? That’s a timing thing. Not able to tackle? That’s timing and positioning (and learning scenarios of when to tackle instead of trying to smother). Players all over the ground? Try different tactics.
My suggestion… read the Guide and drop the difficulty down to Easiest. Clearly new to the game, and haven’t learned the basics or developed the skills yet to take on anything higher.
Telling people to get a life because of a video game, yet this same video game ‘ruined your day’ and you even felt the need to create an account and stir up commotion in a forum. He was simply trying to help you even when you came in here all hostile.
Does anyone happen to know how a player with higher star skills (acceleration, contested handball, etc) impacts differently to the other skill ratings?
For example, is a player with 70 for marking & 2 stars for contested marking a better overall mark than a player of a similar height/weight who’s 80 for marking but only has 1 star for contested marking?
Just not sure which attribute to give more weight to when drafting players - baseline skill points or star skills? Hope that makes sense!
Also what does the player type buff in the stats exactly, and if there is a buff can it be seen or is it invisible. e.g. one out marking - does that literally add an extra five or ten points to the marking stat or is it added behind the scenes.
You guys need to chill on the spamming asking for Roster updates, last year they partially released the newest recruits that they obtained photogrammetry for, the week after Round 1 on March 19. Give it some time…
Thats pretty poor by big ant they promised us the best AFL game and bought out many updates but cant even bring another one out for 2025, who gives a crap about pro team its rubbish anyway.
Pro Team is one of the most rewarding card collecting video games around. There is multiple ways to earn packs. And not the worthless packs you earn in other card collecting games, really good packs.
I do spend money, because I am a collector (nearly 3000 in pro team). This is my CHOICE, and as such no one should judge me or anyone else for doing so.
Having said that, my “best” team is made up almost entirely of earnable cards or cards pulled from reward packs, there is maybe 4 players in it from purchased packs.
