Hey everyone, does anyone have the best sliders for career mode. I’m struggling putting my own sliders and having to always put it on hardest as it is to easy. Please if anyone can take ss and show me then that would be amazing. thanks

If it’s a case of time and money, just award a mix of basic things you can already earn like contracts and FP. Just give us something, it can’t be that hard surely. And you’re right, badges and banners should be a walk in the park. Maybe past a certain level you have fireworks each time you run out? And you could grade the colours to reflect the level reached.
One idea that might be fun next time the commentators are in the booth - record a few lines like ‘station management want me to say that this team has reached level 55, whatever that means’ and have Gary ad lib a bunch of responses like ‘sounds like they need to touch grass’ and so on. Maybe with every five levels they break the fifth wall a bit more each time tapping out with lines like ‘Ross told me this stuff can happen, I just hope the player is getting the help they need’. Maybe some random outtakes could work too - ‘did I just hear that?’. Have some fun with it.

What a let down, can’t even put it up for auction. This is very disheartening… Not sure if I’m up for a grind only to be let down.
They are the only good cards that I have too, so I was looking forward to adding another good card. I spent $50 on packs and got nothing too.
Man the stats in career mode is just a tinny weeny bit outrageous.
Feels like the unrealistic stats are made to yes get the player selected in the draft……..but man take away a digit and maybe that will come close to accurate
Actually wouldn’t mind a career mode where the player just isn’t good enough to make it to the afl and ends up in the vfl or suburban div12 leagues for their ‘career’ playing for wattle park……..hopefully in the future.

Hope this is an easy update but could the size of the hud marker for kick and handball be made bigger as a slider……….as someone who loves their broadcast far camera, it’s always been a bit small
I think stats only do this when you sim, if you don’t sim I don’t think they glitch

How do you keep players in their positions? Everytime i play a match in management mode and turn on auto interchange all the players roles change and its so annoying is there a way too fix this?
Anyone got tips on getting effective tackles? Doing the objective that requires 6 tackles with a player in a game and my god this is frustrating. CPU mange to just kick or handball out of every tackle i lay but god forbid im able to do the same. It’s funny how many times the CPU tackles me and then I get done for incorrect disposal but I haven’t once seen the CPU get done for the same thing, they can just kick and handball out of any tackle
You should be able to set the roles before each match in the Team Lineup Screen.
Not much you can do about fixing player positions if you use Auto-Interchange.
You’ll mostly see backs in defence, mids in the midfield, and forward up front, but there are some occasions the Auto Interchange moves some to other places when juggling player fatigue and interchanges.
All up though, the auto interchange has seemed a lot better lately… but if you want that level of control, just use Manual Interchange instead.
this is more a flaw of the game and something that hopefully gets addressed in the future.
the powered and accurate kicks and handball AI players can get away while getting tackled. every single player seems to have the ability to get a one step kick that always hits the target or kicks a goal 50 metres out…even when going to ground as they are being tackled…
BUT
As others have mentioned in earlier post dont hold onto sprint when trying to tackle and use a combo of R1 (homing) and Tackle to have at least some success.
Game needs a system for tackling based on zones which are determined by distance between the players (with stats and all that jazz too) and when a tackle is made and how it affects disposals and some visual or heptic cues for the player to know WHEN they should tackle
Need a place in proteam to see what cards are each collection and what cards can be pulled from each pack. Like nbas my team. Make it like so we can scroll and see what cards actually exist. Maybe even a trading system with mates and randoms

Anyone elses AFL 26 just not launching? Mine just says its running then all of a sudden doesnt load and doesnt give me a message
anyone else feel like the game is too easy just like 23, easily winning once again on hardest. also they should add in so you can play any league in manager mode.
Do you notice the AI changing tactics? Like when they fall behind, does it seem like they change the way they play?
Cause I’m pretty sure they don’t change tactics. Which, I suppose, once you’ve figured it out, the game becomes easy.
I should play a full-length match (with more time to notice changes) and see if there is a noticeable difference in how the AI plays depending on the game state. I wonder if QTR length also affects it
The longer the QTRs, the more likely the AI actually changes its tactics?
honestly it feels like right now tactics arent being adjusted but rather the effectiveness of the disposals of the opposition. They do the same thing, but when they are winning, it just works, kinda like scripting.
i feel like marking is to easy, the ai are just dumb and positioning is not realistic at all and no they never change tactics
