Not sure what this is or is there a way round it player could be can make a sub second player requires to use players one control pad to scroll down select x on there own player then use the stick on the other controller to scroll again to press x to select the replacement on there own pad

I play PS5 love earning trophy’s for rugby league games I am experiencing bugs that don’t want to unlock after doing them I put time in as I enjoy like to get rewarded trophy’s for doing so
There’s are the following trophys/achievements not being unlocked
Golden Boot kick 100 Conversions Across all matches.
Charge! Perform a Successful Charge down to prevent a Field goal
We Are The Champions. win an NRL or Super league Premiership Competition
Unstoppable . With one team go through and NRL or super league season without conceding a loss.
Here, You Have It] Perform 100 offloads to receivers across all matches
Pile Them High] Perform 1000 tackles across all matches
[Try Try Try!] Score 500 tries across all matches

Super league players numbered 1-17 instead of setting their numbers pre career mode like previous versions.

No stats page like previous versions.

Unable to see match stats other than who scored. Previously could see all match stats and player ratings from the match.

Unlimited interchanges for all match types on super league career, instead of only 8.

Previously could see stats like conversion success percentages when lining up for a conversion, as well as over all career stats when scoring a try. Always found this interesting in career and a shame it’s no longer available.

Big Ant, I’m just going to ask a few simple questions regarding the gameplay…
Why can you not make the backlines stand deeper and running onto the ball?
We want to be able to run to the line, draw in defenders and have players running through holes.
We want to be able to then have players follow you so you can draw the fullback, or chip kick over the top, or an inside ball to a player running onto the ball.
Why is this all so hard to do after you have had 16 years to get it right?

Just downloaded an update and Player switching in the defensive line is still badly broken, the 5/8-half switch in career is still broken (never fixed in RLL4), some tries aren’t registering on the scoreboard which is very very amateur of Big Ant. Still no stats.
Also, nobody on earth calls Wakefield Trinity “The Trinity.”

I just got an achievement for dragging an opposition player into their end goal.
Only problem was I actually dragged the opposition player into touch on the halfway line

I got tackled by an offside player after a break and he put me in touch so the opponent received the ball.

Score not tracking properly after tries or kicks.

The unstoppable try where the player drives over the line and then falls over the line. Why can’t players help with the tackle to prevent this as it’s every run in this situation.

Bugs/issues found as of update 20/07/25 (GMT)
- player scoring try not counting on scoreboard (2 points from conversion are added if kicked).
- Referee still appears to be all over the place, spends a lot of time with attacking line of 20-30m behind defensive line
- When in touch (whether ball kicked into touch or player tackled into touch) results in a play the ball on halfway as opposed to where the ball/player went into touch.
- would be nice to have super league pitch markings.
- St Helens stadium called Langtree park (hasn’t been langtree park for years).
- Still issues with players ages and positions just at Warrington Stefan Ratchford’s age is incorrect and Luke Thomas is not a full back.
Why is there no wind direction or speed ?

Here’s my take after playing pro mode 30 minute halves. PS5
Normal NRL comp
In the 7 games played not once has it rained even though I have played 2 games with the setting to wet and 2 with the setting to showers
Only ref vocals I hear are for knock ons, penalties and forward passes and the automated for ruck infringements No tackle count not even on the last. You have to rely on the HUD. Annoying at first but a minor inconvenience.
Some blatant knock ons are ruled play on and I have seen 2 tries ruled tries even though the ball doesn’t get to the line and 1 awarded for a player being held up.
No injuries to either side
Game play is good as far as I am concerned as I went through editing the players.
Career mode.
Have only played the 2 preseason games.
Same as above.
Jersey editor
No way of putting an official team patch or edited sponsrsors onto jerseys.
Sock editing is a hassle as you can’t see the socks whilst doing it.
Not enough options to add to jersey design as was in RLL4
Custom teams
You can make a custom team same options for jerseys as above but there is no way of making a custom comp. You can only play a one off game in play now. Hopefully this is put in and we can play a 20 team comp.

I have played 2 games and it actually rained in one. I could see it but it had no impact on the surface although 1 try from the AI they dived a metre out and slid over. It has no impact on jersey deterioration either. Jerseys don’t get muddy like they did in the last 2 games which although trivial is somewhat of a dissappointment.
All Games
Apart from 1 game I played in play now and only for the first set did the opposition player names appear on the screen. This definitely needs to be rectified as I don’t play with the commentary on.
Player commentary needs a little work as well as it is just garble.
Teams
Releasing an NRL game without International teams and no NSW Cup team is a disgrace.
Custom Grounds
You can make them but when you try and play on them the game crashes
Wind
It seems there isn’t any. In more than 9 hrs of play I am yet to see any. No trees swaying no effect on ball flight.
I think the Aussies version is still being worked on as this feels like it has been released as a beta version to get feedback. The gameplay although very close to RLL4 is actually better and if they have fix up what is missing we will have a decent playable game. To do this correctly I don’t expect a mega patch coming out in the next few days.
Forgot to add there are absolutely no game stats, no player of the match and no comp stats other than the ladder.

Just played first game since the update. Feels much better, but I did lower the difficulty, ha. No NRL markings or referee kit in the Super League, but the kits were just blue with no sponsors and the sideline sponsors all just say ‘Super League’. Hooker still very delayed getting to the PTB. On the plus side, the scoring was accurate on my match.
If they can nail the fixes as fast as they have so far, we may have a half decent game sooner rather than later!

In career mode -Players called offside from marker continuously when there clearly on with no yellow indicator?
I had a second little patch (16.3mb?) have you had that? Not sure what it was, but the kits do get dirty. I have had it in my games vs the Roosters in their away kit. Looked quite good. Maybe has to be the right conditions or is bugged?
