Yeah, now you have to open a new menu to select a stadium rather than just scroll, and they’ve removed the option of home stadium or random, I don’t know why they felt the need to change it at all. It worked fine before and worked fine in RLL4.

Also through the tiers sapphire isn’t registering for me. Playing a game with all the players and it’s not counting.
I usually play the full 80 but it becomes unrealistic when you have over 100 sets in the game. It would be nice if the developers could tweak the speed of the game a bit to fix this. The priority is definitely fixing the AI forward pass glitch. Played another game last night, kicked off AI throw a forward pass and i stroll over for a try from the scrum in less than a minute. Of the 7 kickoffs in that game they threw the ball forward 5 times and i scored 3 times off the scrum. They have fixed the chip kick easy try by the look of things though which is a good thing as you could score every time you got to 5 out.
A few tweaks to game play and this will become their best game they have ever produced. Might try to reduce the offloads and fends and increase tackles to see if that fixes some of those other lobsided stats.

In the edit lineup screen pre match on Play Now, what does the triangle button option for ‘switch to other side’ mean? It doesn’t swap wingers (or anyone else) around?
I think switch to the other team/opposition so you can change their line up too? That was the case in RLL4. Haven’t looked in RL26 though I do all my team edits from main edit menu. Cheers
I’m having problems with regards to the “the resolution will be televised” achievement, no matter how the ball is grounded, the referee will always send it up to the video referee with a no try decision. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
43-38 in linebreaks doesn’t replicate reality though. I play 30-minute games and still get myself and the AI around 24-28 linebreaks per game whereas the simulated games in Career for all other teams get around 12-18 linebreaks which reflects real life. I don’t get it. The errors are low too. But in my games they are around 10 or more. It’s all inconsistent regardless of how real I want to play the game. Set-wise I get around 20 each team.
60 minute games gives you around 38 to 40 sets a half. I’m going to reduce passing, offloads, kicking distance, stamina, catching and speed for all players on 2 teams and increase defense and see if I can manipulate the games a bit more. It is getting there and it is in my opinion the best rugby league game to come out.
Issues with atleast Carrer Mode still:
- Auto Interchange dosnt use number 16 and 17 only changes with 14 and 15
- Auto interchange still only interchanges with Props and dosnt interchange with 2nd Row or Lock even when tired
- Match Statistics dont show Run Meters

Since recent patch still some reasonably big game play issues.
• CPU can gain in nearly every tackle
• With above and maybe a bug, my defence do not retreat so offside every play
• Markers even when square are marked as offside
• User gets dominated nearly every tackle
• With above means CPU defence is set every time, play of the ball is slow way to slow
• User receivers keep swapping making first pass hard to judge and keeps doing terrible passes
• CPU can pass or make decisions extremely close to User players. User players can only make decisions way back from CPU players. This means you can not react, and as the CPU defence timing is not fixed in on the same unreactive time frame you luck thrugh space more than skill it.
• Momentum needs to be more natural, with CPU dominating every tackle this is very clear on try line. User can be hairing towards the try like and stopped dead driven backwards.
• Opposite is true for CPU, then get maybe 6 held up over the lines in a game, user gets 6 a season.
• Hand offs do not work
• Player selection was fine, now its bad again. Like a roulette of who you’ll get

What mode are you playing and on what device as I don’t get that. I have had some great games on pro and vintage modes 60 minutes up to 80 minutes.
I can hold the opposition to less than 50 metres a set almost every set, I gain 50 metres a set from time to time and average just under it. Going by the stats at fulltime my play the ball speed is similar to the CPU. My defence line gets back every time and i hardly have a marker offside that results in a 6 again or penalty. Even so they average around what the cpu gives me. Double click your passes if you want a better pass and run from dummy half before passing to get your line moving would be my advice if you are having troubles in that area. I hold up opposition over the line many times a game to stop a try and they do to me on occassions as well. I also get offloads off close to the defensive line I just only do it when it is feasable to try. Most of the time the player I want to get the ball gets it. I even have a nice move when playing near the sideline. My dummy half darts sideways from the play the ball on the opposite side of the ruck to the sideline and i use the triangle button (ps5) to throw a ball back to my winger near the sideline and make metres 70% of the time doing it.
There have been some terrible calls lately.
There was a bug in the Sidhe games where on the ai’s last tackle you could run your player down field, then when you caught their kick, kick it back over them and your offside player could collect the ball and score. Never tried it in a Big Ant game to be honest, would probably work.
