There was a bug in the Sidhe games where on the ai’s last tackle you could run your player down field, then when you caught their kick, kick it back over them and your offside player could collect the ball and score. Never tried it in a Big Ant game to be honest, would probably work.

I had a few weird calls yesterday. A loose ball hitting a leg being considered a knock on and the AI running into the scrum then passing it to my player which was considered offside

Hi, I am on PS5 standard machine with latest update, and I play on Pro level.

I think its not the total distance covered each tackle it is more that the CPU from point of contact gains ground each time in attack. The user mostly goes backwards, now I can use different attack methods to gain ground as winning most games but it is more I want the rules of engagement to be the same. This is exaggerated when going higher in the difficultly which is why the differences then matter more - CPU gaining ground every tackle, and the user not so much, CPU able to use evades to no end amd the user not. This is partly due to the defences being set for CPU and not for the user.

There is 100% a difference between what the CPU can do and what I can do now this might be a bug specific to myself but looking at videos online etc most are live player vs player so the capabilities are matched. If you see CPU vs User games then there seems to be an issue.

Just tried it on my end through play now match, triangle does switch to opposition team and allows you to scroll the lineup and move their players around. I’m on ps5, though I rather do my team lists/edits through the main menu edit tab.

User Defensive line still at a complete standstill when holding the player down in the tackle. Makes no sense.
When the AI holds us down in the tackle their whole defensive line doesn’t stop. They get back the 10 onside accordingly. This needs addressing asap.

Support after any offload is diabolically terrible. After every offload our whole team bar the hooker will retreat/turn around and not follow the play, left 15-20 metres behind the ball.
Again, when the AI offloads this doesn’t seem to happen and the whole team supports rather well. This needs fixing asap.

Still a problem with the AI dummy half when catching our marker(s) offside. A lot of hesitation turnovers/forward passes here.

AI 4th tackle kick glitch needs fixing asap

Kick to touch animation still glitchy since update 1.24

Some scrum formations need removal with uneven numbers on the open side

AI defensive kick chase still very weak inside the Centre, too easy to make break on inside of the Centre

AI not using all bench with substitutions

Biggest problems with gameplay at the moment I feel, particularly the lack of support after an offload and the whole side backing off the play. Please address BA

Yeah the loss of control at marker is painful!

Just to add - the defensive set up on penalty goals needs updating, every player standing behind the goal line looks wrong

Commentary also painful when making subs and kicking before the last tackle, labelling play now matches as trial matches not needed either imo

Support play on kick retrieval could be better/more fun ie. catch ball with winger and fullback is like 20 metres too deep and not supporting the ball carrier

20 metre restarts whole team is too deep, need a proper hitup tight to the tap

Video ref not needed, should be an option to turn it off in options menu

Tap pass> get smashed> lay on ground for an age> get back to feet> get tackled> offload pass from 5 moments - this needs to go, maybe a pass cancel option

It refers to switching to edit the other teams lineup when just playing a casual game I believe

EDITING CREATED CLUB

  • In create a club - when adding/removing players to the roster particularly created ones - It glitches - it will add in random players and the ones added don’t seem to show.

  • Then when editing the line up that completely glitches and even when confirmed - it mixes it all up.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

This was before the recent update btw.

Ultra contracts in pro team disappear after you use them

Custom Logos don’t appear on jerseys when in gameplay.

At what time? Like in play now etc?

In Career Mode, Custom Logos don’t appear on custom kits.

That is the one! Well done! I don’t care if it’s in 2 pieces, miles easier than the Illawarra 4 piece, but that is awesome too.

Please add Run Meters back into the Match Stats, why would this get removed?

Ive been saying the same thing.
Instead of fixing the 0 run meters bug they were like " eh lets just remove probably the most important stat from the game "

I created jerseys for the rabbitohs, spent hours on it and they used to work in career mode. Now all of a sudden the logos on the jerseys dont show up anymore.

When I go to grubber they kick with the power and distance of a 5 year old. :slightly_smiling_face: on a serious note because I’ve posted this several times on the mega thread can you please increase the distance of the grubber, particularly with a skilled player, it would add a layer of skill as well because you can over kick it out of bounds.
Other than that, I’m having great fun with the game , looking forward to more updates like more distance in the grubber and set plays.

Longer grubbers would be great and if possible an extra chip kick option, like a double tap the chip makes it twice as big so we can get a quick kick out to a winger or hope to recover the bounce on a line break.

A driven kick option too, right now the ball barely bounces any distance

Yes, even Rugby 25 has longer and better grubbers, and yes double tap chip kick for a further chip kick would be nice. Also, a play to set this up the middle and a play to set this up on the wings. Would help to add a great feature to the game. I love this game but hate the lack of grubber distance, with skilled players.
