Platform: PC Game Mode: [Pro Team / Online Match / Quick Match] Date/Time of Issue: [October 12, 2025 – ongoing for 2 weeks] Description of Issue:
Over the last two weeks, the game has become nearly unplayable online. Players and the ball behave unpredictably — the ball often gets thrown out randomly or bounces around like a pinball. There are also severe lag spikes during matches. Many times, I’ll be attacking inside the opponent’s half and suddenly the game skips or freezes, and the opponent ends up scoring at my end.
Steps to Reproduce:
Play an online match (especially in Pro Team).
Notice that during key attacking plays or passes, lag spikes or desyncs occur.
The ball and players glitch around, causing random turnovers or teleporting moments.
Frequency: Happens almost every match (especially in the last 2 weeks).
Additional Details:
My internet connection is stable and other online games run fine.
This started after the recent patch/update
Feature Request:
Please consider adding a crash or bug report function built into the game (like many other modern titles). It would make it easier for players to send automatic logs and data directly to developers when these issues occur. This would really help identify what’s causing the lag and desync problems faster.
Is anyone else’s game now crashing out mid game now? just started happening overnight 15/10…only get a short way into a game and freezes my entire pc requiring a restart. Also not a fan of the last update with new fatigue levels of players crippling my side, and now it seems all the average to good teams in my comp are now unbeatable:( the game was enjoyable…please stop with the gameplay updates/ revert it back to a week or so ago.
I noticed that yesterday. Only happened once, mind you, but I took note. A long cut-out pass went to my player, only for them to be watching as it falconed off their head into the opposition’s waiting arms and they made a nice 40m run up-field.
Yes, this is a good call. There needs to be an option to add or remove names on a jersey. Same as they do with numbers in the jersey creator option.
Whilst they’re at it, add the option to include the already licensed teams badges to new jerseys created in the fanhub/academy!
They are already in the game but you can’t add them to your created shirts. Seemingly makes no sense
Many issues but grubbers to long is not one of them , just tap the button instead of holding down the button. Long grubbers should be in the game. They may need some tuning but they need to be in the game.
What is frustrating that there is such a huge difference in play between amateur and pro. Amateur you can break 4-5 tackles in a row, pro you are limited to one, surely an in between balance should be accesible. The Ai has got to get more creative, Rugby league 4 AI’s offensive attack was much more creative and varied, why can’t BA use the same code from Rugby league 4 to run the offensive attacks?
Is there any chance they’ll fix the terminally online achievement/trophy? It doesn’t count if the opposition quits and EVERYONE quits. Apparently this has been a thing since the old games but it really should be a simple fix.
Just finished 2nd year in career mode with the Warriors, end of year comes and I can’t select past the ‘Club’, ‘Change Club’, ‘Star Player’ or ‘Rookie Player’. Game just freezes.
Lol RIP this game man I can’t even anymore. What a waste investing any time into this was.
