@Shas2 Can you explain how stamina system works. Im having hard time understanding it.

It impact shot strength, running speed and reduction of speed for pacers

Big ant studios for next season of ipl there are around 40 to 45 new licensed playfaces and 10 to 15 update playfaces for playfaces patch

Something off topic but I really really hope they would allow Mods for Cricket24 or to their upcoming cricket games.
It will make devs’ job easier, they won’t have to worry about fixing minor issues, community modders would take care of it while the devs would actually spend time to work on big stuff.
Mods will make the game 2x better, visually and in other aspects.
Please BigAnt, make the games compatible with mods! @JNT_BA

I have few requests related to captaincy during career mode (I only play in career mode, so writing from that perspective) to improve the immersion in to the game. Kindly look at them and see if they are feasible to implement in future.

  1. When player captains a side, we have an option to ‘skip to career player’, if we select that, it skipped the captain duty and AI took all the decision; be it bowling or field change or next batter selection. (even if we simulate one or two overs, AI changes the field or bowler)

Can you make it that for every captaincy related decision, there should be a skip to next decision/over button. where we should be easily skip to next over and assign next bowler and field change.

Right now it is very difficult to manage captain duty unless we do the full fielding.

  1. During captaincy in career mode, in the tactics we have some options like declare and batting order. Can we add more tactical decisions like play defensive, play aggresive, go hard in powerplay, bowl wide yorkers, bowl bouncers etc like guiding options to the team.

  2. As a batsmen on non striker end in carrer mode; Can we add commands to the batter such as play defensive or aggresive; or while batting with a tailender Block the ball and do not run singles etc.

That can happen if the team is not working properly from the creator. That error can mean a number of things but usually means there is some issue with the team itself when it comes to downloading it. Usually a graphical error.

Just downloaded some myself without issue. But that’s not to say we are downloading the same ones.

It will great to have more customizations in C26 , being able to choose each and every shot from the list of shot animations which can only unlock if you have enough skill points in that particular shot area.

And bowling actions being customizable , like choosing the runup instensity from merely jogging to steaming in , has to be 5 types at least. Choosing the initial arm movement and jump style and then choosing the delivery style and follow through.

It will be fun to create bowling actions of your own and upload them in to academy , will give career mode a ton of boost with club players getting unique bowling actions from themselves thanks to academy.

There should be 4 separate batting animations for each very early , early/late , good/ideal , very late.

It will really make immersion in batting with the very early and very late shot animations really looking bad and batsmen edging it/not looking in control/beaten by pace/spin

it will be great to have separate batting animations based on timing instead of artificially drifting the batter away from ball so that it can miss the ball. It looks unnatural.

Moreover the game should choose ughly shot animation from very early/very late shot library even when the input for footwork is poor/ok , will result in batter mistiming/edge or just being late on the ball , however if the batter skills are high it can choose from good shot library.

It will really make tailenders bat like tailenders due to bad shot timing more often due to smaller window and ugly shot animation get triggers more frequently and when they time the ball good , a good shot animation get triggers and the ball going to the boundary , just like how tailenders bat in real life , it will really add ton to the realism when you can just see the batsmen quality by actually seeing him bat instead of seeing his attributes and bat skills. i-e the batter with high skills less likely to play ugly looking shot due to bigger timing window and better with less skills likely to play ugly shot due to smaller timing window.

With respect to bowling , there should be an attribute call accuracy which determines where the ball will actually lands after you initially setup the pitch marker , if the bowler accuracy is bad the ball shall land in different spot and giving batter a bigger timing window to hit it. Also the user input bar speed should be really difficult to control if the bowlers skill is low and it should move it a fast speed and just at the last moment making it difficult to hit greens/ideal when bowling , similarly if the bowler has high skill the the timing bar should move slowly and earlier in the runup making it easier to control.

Similarly there should be an attribute call PACE , the higher the pace off the bowler the quicker the timing window for the batter making it more likely to trigger bad shot animations , however the batters with high skills should have bigger timing window even though the speed of the timing window should remain same making the batters with high skills less likely to play bad shots even against geniune pace , so it will result in when a genuine pace bowler with high skills when plays against club batters there is a chance that he will absolutely demolish them making the game really realistic.

Now let’s talk about spin/swing/seam/cutters mechanics , bowlers with high attributes in say for eg outswing and the input for the delivery is ideal and his accuracy is also high , then it should shave off some timing window for the batter making it more likely to edge it/trigger bad shot etc. However if his accuracy is bad then the ball will not land in intended spot and timing window will actually increase making the batter more likely to hit the bowl with good timing however there will still be a chance for the batter to choose wrong foot movement because of big swing due to high swing rating (for manual control batter and for AI batter the correct feet movement input probability will be based on his skills against outswing deliveries)

Now let’s come to the attributes for both batters and bowlers

The batters attribute should be
1)Bat skills (primary attribute to define the timing window size for batter)
2)Judgement (Game choosing the correct shot animation for the batter based on given delivery , Applies to both Human and AI batter)
3)Mental toughness (More AI related attribute , ability to play long innings and not throw away his wicket after getting a start , finishing the game well etc)
4)Front foot (modifier to bat skills , if high front the timing window is bigger on playing front foot shots)
5)Back foot (Modifier to bat skills , if high back foot skills , the bigger timing window when playing backfoot shots)
6)Leg side (modifier to bat skills for playing leg side shots , affects timing window)
7)Off side (Modifier to bat skills for playing off side shots , affects timing window)
8)Defense (For playing defensive shots)
9)Precision (Ability to play in gaps)
10)Power (Self explanatory)
11)Orthodox Shots (Self explantory)
12/13)Adv down the track shots for pace and spin(Self explantory)

and for batters proficiency just add VS Away movement (pace) , Vs incoming movement (Pace) , VS away movement (Spin) , Vs incoming movement (Spin) VS Special delivery (Spin)

It will cover all types of deliveries in the game like away /incoming Seam , outswing , inswing, off cutter , leg cutter , leg spin , off spin , top spinner , googly ,arm ball , flipper etc.

For bowling attributes

1)Accuracy
2)Pace
3)Outswing
4)Inswing
5)Leg cutter
6)In seam
7)Away Seam
8)Bounce (pace and spin both)
9)Off cutter
10)Off spin
11)Leg Spin
12)Top Spin
13)Googly
14)Arm Ball
15)Flipper
16)Slower delivery
17)New ball skills (Modifier for Accuracy and Pace and the highest bowling delivery skill (say for eg outswing or leg spin) will get further boost in the opening overs of the match if the new ball skills are high)
18)Middle overs skills (Modifier/booster in the middle overs)
19)Death over skills (Modifier/Booster in the late overs)
20)Golden arm skill (more likely to break partnership if the skills are high)

Is there any change of my idea wholly or some of it getting implemented in C26? Also kindly make sure that there are no geniune fast bowlers in club cricket career games , the top speed shouldn’t be above 130k max and if one of the players in club career teams increases his speed above 130k then he should be promoted to FC level just like in real life. even 130k there should be only 5/6 bowlers in whole club league capable of hitting 130k and most of them being in between 110-120k

Hi, I’ve been playing Cricket 24 and absolutely love the game! However, I encountered a bug while playing the IPL mode. After completing half the IPL, during a match, the game froze after an over change with no output. I’ve reported the issue and shared a video for reference. Hoping for a fix soon!

Express pacers that is who can bowl 150k+ should not be able to maintain their pace in career mode , most should be able to bowl 150k+ only for 2 or 3 years , some of them lasting 5 years and very few of them managing 7 years with extreme pace , it would definitely add realism in career mode and also it will make you hunt for express pacers in career mode to incorporate them in to the team because they come with short expiry date and after losing their pace some will become your usual fast medium bowlers (137k-147k) and some become medium fast bowlers (130k-137k) just like it happen in real life.
And at any given time in career mode there shouldn’t be more than 3 bowlers in the entire world who can clock more than 155k+ to depict realism.

More over a team management career mode would be highly appreciated in C26.

Hey developers i am here for highlighting some issue:

  1. The AI on any difficulty plays like a set batsman whatever the style of play ie Conservative may be of the batsman he will just hit boundaries irrespective of the format fix it asap.
  2. Improve the ai using machine learning so it feels more realistic and plays according to the field,player’s style of play,pitch,boundary length and power and confidence of batsman
  3. Create a ai vs ai difficulty which is realistic as if we are watching a live match and ai behave accordint to situations,pitch,etc.
  4. Create an ai or feature to create custom logos by uploading a photo and the computer can generate as accurate as possible as the current jersey and logo creator has a very difficult mechanism.
    If it is done this will enhance the user experience and give more authenticity

Hi guys, I would love to see the New Zealand domestic team kits to be added or even the ability to create them ourselves and an update on the current Black Caps uniform.

Also, the amount of miss fields needs to be better. I dont mind a few here and there but not as much as there is currently.

Speaking of fielding, the urgency to take the catch in the deep is bad. the ball would be in the air for a long time, but the fielder would just stand back and wait for the bounce.

Injuries barely happen. I know people dont want to get injured, but it still happens. would like to see some happen please.

Being able to change the logos and light colours on the stumps would be good also.

If you guys are making a new cricket game in the future, would definitely like to see stuff like playing for sponsorships and a currency that could be used for coaching to get your skill tree up and new gear.

I play mainly career, and I do enjoy it. Hoping the WTC will be added to the current game but if not, hopeful in the new one.

Hey Pal, most of your points i read is around AI playing style so i wuld suggest you to try custom sliders of difficulty you won’t regret it.
another point regarding the import process of photo so currently game allows to import SVG file for logos n stuff there is a logic behind this as you have understand that svg files do not get stretched or blurred pixels while other formats do.
so IMO BigAnt gave a perfect option for this.
