Hello team, I must say good game, Some glitches and bugs are there. But you guys working day night to make it perfect. Thats a very positive sign and hoping for good.
You have fixed almost every cutscene for now (As long as i have seen). There are some issues i’ve seen and if fixed that will make it the best looking game ever.
I’ve attached a screenshot where the batting side winning the game and they are appriciating the loosing side but “in the air”. no players is visible with whom they are shaking hands and interacting. it looks bad and ruins the experience of winning.
Also, the highlights and some replays looks blurry and other ones are sharp just like the gameplay.
AI not taking doubles they only take singles and stop
Left handed batsman coming from dugout practicing with right hand and the right hand with left.
The player has hit the shot, But in the cutscene the other player is couting fielders or rubbing the field with feet (should be the one who shot the ball)
FPS suddenly drops in night matches or even after sometime of gameplay. It got better when i reset the academy but got better just & still dropping.
Some of the keeper animations and fielding animations feel less comparing from when the game came out. Specially keeper animation feels more like 24 now. Sometimes 26 but mostly basic ones like 24
Not raining when the players getting out cause of rain. there should be a cutscene where players are walking fast or running and its raining.
Broadcast dynamic camera looking so much zoomed in even on 0% ball zoom. it should be a little zoomed out (very litle) so it looks more realistic.
Fielders always throwing perfect throws, always on the wickets perfectly even on medium settings. It should be 50% perfection.
In ashed mode or even normal tests, The national anthem animation is before the toss which should be after toss. Also, the cutscene of dressing room shown in trailer is not there for now.
There was a crowd sound where they sing songs together in england in cricket 24. thats alos not there in 26. It increses the experience of playing in england, I saw “india india” Chants which is good just dont remove that ever, These little things increase the experience for every country player.
Sometime games stuck or gets into slow mode and i need to restart. Sometime keeper or fielder gets the ball in hand and dont throw at all and we need to restart the game
in careeer mode, The coach cutscene in start is missing, Which should be there
damien fleming’s commentry is not there yet, So if you guys can update on that too.
These are some of the things i’ve noticed and hoping that things will get perfect and we have the greatest game, I love your work and these all things are just to make you know what i am experiencing, Take them as a positive feedback, I love your work.
Thanks alot for working on the stuff and always providing use the best experience of cricket game. Just need some more attention to detail in the given things and we are so so perfect.
The game 80% there and it looks so so beautiful in terms of graphcis, Models, Playfaces, Field animations (some missing from the day 1 patch)
Thanks. Hopping these things get resolved quickly and we play the perfect game very soon
“I also struggled with that option at first. When you start your career mode, make sure you turn on ‘Start With Any Team.’ At the beginning it gives you a yes/no choice — choose Yes. That’s what fixes it.”
Bigant, if you’re listening please do a better job with licensed players, or allow us to edit them.
As others have mentioned, none of the new batting styles have been allocated to licensed players, and most of the players have poor choices for their current unchangeable batting styles (Klaasen having the most wristy style 2 as an example).
Only being able to change the bat also doesn’t make sense when you can’t change their pads/gloves to the bat make.
Most of the people commenting that the game is the same as 24 are probably seeing the exact same tired batting animations. I feel the game would feel new and fresh if these new styles were used well by allocating them thoughtfully to players in the game. At the moment, all that work on new batting styles is wasted.
Ideally, this would be done by making the licensed players more editable. The community would take care of the rest and the game would feel more alive and accurate. Even EA sports allow editing of licensed player boots, kit, ankle tape etc.
Lastly, if you’re unable or unwilling to allow us to edit players, please make the default cricket shoes white and not black/grey/maroon/white. Having 80% of the players wearing what looks like bowling/gardening shoes really ruins the presentation. I think it’s been this way since cricket 22 or even before.
Cricket 26 has improved graphics and content to play with like multiple bowling and bating styles, but the problem is that we cannot use it for most of the players. What’s the benefit of having new styles, new kits, new animations if we cannot use them.
If BigAnt want to protect the licensed players then let us create a copy and edit them. This change will definitely create more excitement for us to play, because if today I play with Australia or India (licensed IPL players), I will get few new styles and remaining players will give the same feeling of Cricket 24.
It’s a request to let modify Kits and Styles of licensed players. Like EA allow us to modify shoes , gloves and socks.
I have noticed that after the update this week on xbox that aggressive shots that where going for six no problem no longer travel as far or go for six anywhere near as often. Has taken alot of fun out of the game.
Just I want review again. But,idk how to edit the old review. After few updation, there r some improvements.Commentary is improving, naming the openers, batsmen who comes to bat and fielders. Not wicket keepers.Adding few more, would be like watching cricket on TV.like, naming the teams reaches 50,100 or 150.Vice versa players.Still,Fleming not added.2)Stumping by keepers r excellent,2 to 3 fielders now attempting to stop the ball and throwing faster than before, except the closer one.which is still slower. In replay, batsmen about to hit the ball, his head is looks moving little sideways.Sofar,I ve noticed.Overall,Ross and crew r doing justice to their efforts.I think,in coming updates,we ll full fledged cricket game.Thnx, once again to Ross.
We’re all saying the same thing. Hopefully they listen. When Cricket 22 first came out, you could’ve edited the licensed players, then the feature was taken away. What saved Cricket 24 from that standpoint is that the community found a way to get custom versions of the licensed players, so I’m hoping either one is done here so we can fully immerse ourselves in the action.
Player career international teams are an issue. When I start an England player career the first ashes team is all over the place. Jason Roy usually in there batting at number 11. Batting orders are always wild too.
In cricket 24 the selection was pretty consistent and the batting orders were accurate. This needs fixing
oh and there’s no international fixtures until the end of 2027
Spin is overpowered. Needs patch to fix it. I’m playing a T20 and off time spinners and Nathan Lyon are getting 5 wickets. And India are 7 for 28 after 6 overs @JNT_BA
I will always support Big Ant’s tennis and cricket titles. I’d love to hear scenario mode is on the cards for future Cricket 26 updates, it’s the best aspect of any cricket game for me since childhood. The pick up and play nature of scenarios and their immediate intensity, whether from historic or custom creations, just adds an irreplaceable dimension. Please consider.
@JNT_BA@MattW kindly have reference to ongoing india vs south africa series to help the team looking after graphics to incorporate into stadiums of subcontinent.Following are small changes that can make huge difference:
1)patchy looking outfield(it was there in pre release build but I don’t know why removed in the final build)
2)30 yard circle is marked with dots here in subcontinent unlike full circle in sena countries
3)smog and haze for subcontinental stadiums which can be introduced through volumetric lightning
popping shadows of floodlights look very unrealistic they are very soft in rea light as shadow is formed from object which is very far.
Can we get ahead of the curve and have an updated Campbell Kellaway in the game. He’s the future of Australian batting. His hair is now shaved and he’s taller and more muscular than what’s in the game atm. He will play for Australia very soon. Let’s not fall behind.
A minor detail probably but gets on my nerves. Throws into the keeper are always on the full. No matter how far the throw is it’ll land straight into the keepers gloves.
A nice 1 or 2 hopper into keeper. Also some throws into bowlers end would be nice too.
