1. Career Mode – Retired Players Still Playing (Critical)
In Career Mode, many players who have already retired in real life are still playing professional cricket in future seasons such as 2028–2029.
Examples include:
- David Warner
- Peter Siddle
- Several other players aged 42–45
These players continue playing all formats, which breaks realism.
Suggested Fix:
- Retirement should appear in a separate news/retirement tab
- Once retired, players should not be playable again
-–
2. AI Rule Violation – Illegal Overseas Player Selection (Very Critical)
The AI is violating league rules by selecting too many overseas players.
Most leagues allow:
- 3–4 overseas players (maximum)
- In some cases, up to 5
However, the AI selects 7–8 overseas players, which is against official rules and damages gameplay balance.
Affected leagues include:
- PSL
- IPL
- CPL
- The Hundred
- New Zealand Premier League
- T10 leagues
Requested Fix:
- AI must strictly follow league-specific overseas limits
- Squad selection logic should be locked to official rules
-–
3. Severe Fielding Bugs – AI Not Throwing Ball & No Run-Outs (Game-Breaking)
There are serious fielding bugs that break gameplay completely:
- In-circle fielders often do not throw the ball
- AI fielders hold the ball for several seconds without any action
- No run-out attempts are made, even when batsmen are clearly out
- Batsmen continue taking easy runs while fielders remain inactive
- Sometimes the AI gets completely stuck, allowing unlimited extra runs
These issues are clearly visible in the attached videos and can be reproduced consistently.
-–
4. Fielding Performance – Excessive Catch Drops
Fielding quality is highly unrealistic:
- 5–6 catches dropped in almost every match
- Simple and routine catches are missed
- Poor reactions and positioning
This greatly affects match outcomes.
-–
5. Wicketkeeper Bugs – Frequent Dropped Catches
Wicketkeepers are especially problematic:
- Dropping very easy catches
- Poor consistency behind the stumps
- Happens repeatedly in Career Mode
This needs urgent balancing.
-–
6. Celebration Bug – Helmet Not Removed After 50 or 100
In Career Mode, when a player scores a half-century or century:
- The player should remove the helmet and celebrate
- Due to a bug, the helmet is not removed
- Celebration animation feels broken and incomplete
I kindly request your team to treat these issues as high priority and resolve them in the next update or patch. Fixing these bugs will significantly improve realism, fairness, and the overall quality of Cricket 26
