Still no editing licensed teams? Still no player updates??? Really nah you guys are playing with us I am sure thirsday will be a step backwards again
Played my first online game today and the biggest thing I noticed was the tackling doesnât realy work. The oposition gets a break and they score because you canât tackle them. Not sure if it just me or other people are getting this issue.
@JNT_BA can we PLEASE add the liecenced players to custom teams I donât see how this is not in the game already. All the filters are there for it you just cant add the players in.
A cool touch would be to add the RWC 23 kits but it is no biggie if theyâre not added because you can just download logos for them.
I honestly donât COMPREHEND anymore. Everyone is asking, BEGGING to edit squads? Itâs been ignored⌠Can we get a STATEMENT in regards to this?
Cause I paid R1300 for this game which is a lot and none of the promises has been kept?

If we canât remove and add players has anyone any ideas on workarounds ?
Iâm thinking we could take all players without a face from the lineup or bench and that way only players who are licensed players can play

Im not willing to except its licencing issue. This game was released with promise of fully licencing and being able to edit and create in the glorious community they sold us upon release. Yet its not in game how long after release. This is not acceptable
so i paid R1200 for a game that will never be rectifiedâŚits really unacceptableâŚ

To make my opinion, I play 2 matches in each difficulty.
Thank you thank you AI and finally pleasant.
Positive points :
-IA no longer chooses the scrum every time
-I find IA better at passing after contact, better at defense.
-I find that I scrape the ball better
-raffut I find less cheat than before
Points to improve :
-IA doesnât kick enough, for example low kicks in the back of our defense, Drops, candles, she doesnât play the 50/22.
-adding visible yellow and red cards creates a little animation for immersion.
- at half-time, players recover all their energy except that, for example, the forwards should have lost almost half their energy even after the half-time rest.
the game is ready to play and, well, thanks for the work youâve done, Iâm going to attack the career mode now that the game is ready to play.
Well my early review on the new update (ps5, v1.0.3089, hardest difficulty).
The AI defence seems a bit better. Scoring tries feels more rewarding and had more fun overall. Still AI attack needs improving. It offloads quite a lot, and is very good at evading the first tackle (hand offs + sidesteps), probably too good. The playersâ ability to perform this should be based on skill rating, not all the players like it is now. But apart from this, it is not brilliant moving the ball and creating gaps.
Also the decision making by the AI with the penalties is better now, but how can you have marcus smithâs face perfectly scanned and have him kicking to touch with the left foot!! Please mirror the animation and you have it right.
I have noticed a small glitch where the AI full back recieves a kick and stays stationary, standing there waiting for someone to go and tackle him, happened a couple times I dont know if any of you guys have experienced this. Missing the posibility to call for a mark.
I also had the AI to tackle my players high a couple times, but apparently the ref will only give a yellow from the 3rd high tackle. Rugby refs are not so forgiving nowadays tbf.
I dont play using the editing part of the game so not so bothered about the fact that we canât edit teams. But it would be nice to have someone saying if we can expect this or will never happen.
Good update, they will hopefully make it better on thursday and not worse
One for the animation team - not sure why the referee still signals for TMO when a ball is held up.
Currently doing a CPU v CPU simulation of the Sale v Toulouse game from Sunday (hardest, 7min halves, side camera, on Xbox One hardware) - AI is definitely better with penalties now, thereâs been a lot less scrums and more calls for the post, at last. Plenty more issues to iron out with defensive and attacking shape etc but in time (and with constructive feedback) theyâll get there. Gonna keep lodging tickets as and when I see major issues.
UPDATE: That match ended 17-7 to Toulouse, needs a few more penalties to be conceded by each side, along with the (eventual) integration of the AI deploying their bench but steps in the right direction.
Still no patch on Xbox.
Yep happy with gameplay AI kicking for touch on pens, maybe (PS5) 1 more offload from AI but overall thanks BA

Overall a good update which has made gameplay a lot better than last week. Hopefully moving forward we continue to get more positive patches which address all our concerns.

Edit: URC Chanpionship Season mode Iâm playing AI v AI as usual. Difficulty set to medium, 20 minute halves. Half time it is Connacht 7-21 Sharks.
So far so good. There has been some good gameplay. Attacking team now flow a lot better than they did. There has been some good offloading of the ball, good hard hitting tackles being made, and some good carries. This has resulted in some great tries and an entertaining game so far.
I canât comment on penalties yet as Iâve not had any in this game. Hopefully, like someone else has mentioned, these are now more varied and depending on field position we see more kicking for the posts or kick to touch.

Thanks for another patch, it is better than Friday. I have played a couple of games on Steam, hardest level with 5 minute halves since the patch.
I played as Saudi Arabia vs South Africa and lost my first game 21 - 0 so that was fun sort of to finally lose a match. Also played as Canada and pasted Ireland at home scoring 49 to not a lot and then as screened below battered France with Poland. Australia vs the All Blacks Was 49 - 10 ⌠while it is an âimprovementâ from Fridays hotfix and battering teams by 60 - 90 the difficulty levels for top tier teams is still non existent and just seems like it is put back to Tuesdays level? (Which was an improvement on before that time IG).
Even though the Wallabies could put that score on the All Blacks of course, to have the usual result as scoring 7 tries + against top 3 sides consistently every game seems like the ceiling on the difficulty is far too low.
By all means leave the easy difficulties alone if people are enjoying those too but I know from reading posts here that many other people find the hardest difficulties way too easy as well.
Would be great to not feel like I have to avoid using any of the top tier teams just to find a challenge in the game, so I am really hoping there is a plan to add a legend difficulty over and above what we have now or that the top or top 2 difficulties will be really ramped up at some point so the game can have some longevity
Must also add I am not really a fan of the whole to increase difficulty just make the user players not join the ruck, or make their backline run away from the ball so it opens gaps for the AI to run through.
This games journey is making TLOTR adventure look like a walk to the corner store
But there are some good things in there so looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Edit: Ok seems it may be even easier than before in career mode. Scored 55 in the last win and now this at halftime in the second match 5 min halves on hardest.
Now itâs a challenge for sure love it (PS5 hardest) even donât mind missed tackleâs it happens
Just one more thing for the team. Would it be possible for you guys to add names rather than positions to the Top 14, URC, and Super Rugby teams in the match engine please?
When having a good game like I am at the moment it gets annoying when I cannot see whose making the good carries, the hard hitting tackles, line breaks, off loads etc.
Sure I can pause the game to see whose scored the points via tries, conversions, and penalty goals. But aside from that you canât tell whose carrying the ball etc.
I know itâs probably lower down on your list of things to do, but it would be good to have these implemented in game at some point.
I would love to see more time given to contact time when tackling. At the moment all the hits are dead-stop tackles and every player can tackle. IRL contact takes like 2-3 seconds with players fighting for every inch before going to ground. Also having players miss tackles based on stats.
I would also love to see more 2on1 tackles as that is the case 90% of the time irl. That would would help suck in players and create spaces out wide that can be exploited and make the game more fun.

Actually lost my first game playing as Bulls against Edinburgh. Much closer games again.
But can we maybe try to get the AI to pass a bit more? I am loving their offloads! But maybe also improve the passing itself a bit? Like make the ball go through hands a bit more. But donât tweak the offloads, I love that.
Also I am very impressed! The AI are going for lineouts and penalty kicks now. Well done guys!
We are definitely getting there! The gameplay is getting much more enjoyable.
