I get quite angry when I see players saying that the play-by-play is correct! How is it correct? :expressionless_face:

  • There are still too many turnovers! They aren’t well defined; there should be turnovers when there’s a lack of support, but it’s random!

Too many turnovers make it impossible to perform multiple play actions.

  • AI doesn’t alternate its plays (drops, low kicks).

  • The raffuts are too cheaty.

  • AI too easy.

  • AI doesn’t make any passes before contact. This is a big problem; it makes the AI ​​attack without moving forward.

I’m sorry, but the updates bring too much. We’ve been repeating the same problem for two months. :enraged_face:

For next week’s update, I’m really waiting for this problem to be fixed. It destroys the game and makes it crap to play! But I’m really not enjoying it, it makes me sad because the game has potential.

The bugs I reported are the basis of a rugby game, without that the whole game is compromised.

@JNT_BA thanks for your communication.

I am not sure if you can answer, but wondering if there is any plan do address the following things or if this is more likely to come with the next instalment of the game. 1) fixing up and unders, 2) set plays, 3) adding a lineout mechanic, 4) adding a maul mechanic. With the maul, I am certain I remember seeing in the tutorial that if you drive too quickly, the maul collapses.

Again, maybe you don’t know, but if you know any of these for sure won’t be added, it would be good to know in order to temper expectations.

I don’t understand how anyone can have any faith or hope at this stage. Flat out this game just does not work as a representation of rugby and reality is it never will. We have gone through so many wild swings of gameplay iterations that it’s clear that there isn’t even a vision the team is building to.

Five man rucks, yay, now watch as you see a backline of two players.

The game is broken on every fundamental level when it comes to representing a game of rugby that it is truly mine boggling this hasn’t been put behind the shed and the folks move on to the next game.

Yea I know multiple people who want this game and waiting to buy but flat out refuse to buy a rugby game were a ai can’t pass the ball . Pretty crazy issue to have but it’s a glaring issue and just killing the gameplay to see zero passing, no wingers, no passing through the the hands to the backs etc . Until they get the ai passing properly and a kicking game, doesn’t matter what else is added it will never play well or like union.

@JNT_BA so my logos disappeared on my career mode for custom kits , should I log ticket for this? I literally updated all the super pacific teams with the super hero kits, its fine in play now, but in career the logos doesn’t appear, what should i do?

Passing needs to be better still.

Why is it so hard to do a long or miss pass after the first receiver?

It isn’t intuitive enough, we need it to be based on how long you hold the pass trigger as it just too slow and also unpredictable what the button option will be to pass after holding pass when you break the line.

For nearly 12 months from EA one, for passing to still be bad, really isn’t great.

Hi Team,

Getting heaps of player feeezes in Super Rugby Pacific. It’s really frustrating when you trying to win the game because you can’t use your players to defend. I have played this match a number of times trying to win but crucial times to defend ruin me trying to win this game.

Also near the sideline when you press left L1 to pass sometimes, the ball goes right into touch.

I am still awaiting advice on a question I posed a few days ago now. I’m around 3-5 rounds into playing season mode with a few different leagues.

Currently I’ve been attempting to play a game in the 3rd Round of my URC season mode, Bulls v Ulster. Three times now the game has crashed midway through the 2nd half.

So, should I restart my seasons with brand new saves? Or try and persevere until a patch fixes this issue?

The game needs some serious rebalancing.

I’m not sure what the point of having 5 men able to compete in the ruck is, when they simply stare at the breakdown, and only join in when the opposition scrum half has arrived and passed the ball. Why is there such a delay in joining the ruck?

Also, when the game determines that a turnover is going to happen, it almost always happens when the first player arrives, so again what exactly is the point of adding any further players. In EA the arriving players could actually turn the ball over. Why cannot this be combined so that overwhleming numbers added to the ruck can force a turnover?

Right now the AI can go 10 - 20 ruck phases no problem, due to the above issues. Even if you do join the ruck early, the AI can simply hold onto the ball.

The problem is when you try and hold the ball, you’re going to have a penalty against you for holding on. I have never seen a penalty awarded against the AI for holding on however. That makes no sense in a game with a holding on button.

i have also yet to see the AI given a penalty for a high tackle since the update, although i am getting 1 - 2 against me a game.

In additon to the passing bug that sends a pass into the next town, when you are trying to play fast, all too often your players block the pass from the scrum half. Its annoying and unecessary. Theres no reason for professional players to crowd around a ruck getting in the way of the ball.

There are also knock ons which are not given againt the AI, but are given against me.

Until the ruck logic actually rewards players arriving first, and avoiding running into isolation, along with stats of the player trying to turnover, the holding on button should be scrapped. It is just a cheap way for the AI to gain territory by penalties or hold onto the ball for multiple phases with impunity. Either that or penalties need to be evenly awarded against the AI, especially when they are complely isolated.

Can the team please urgently look into rebalancing the game, as i am forced to now kick 50-22s and just score off line outs and mauls. Trying to play more than a few phases just results in a turnover or a penalty for holding on (whether you tap or hold the button)

Finally, there is bug in that neither the player or AI can tackle a player from behind. Essentially unless you cut in from the side, you cannot tap or catch a player from behind. This results in props or any player literally going the length of the field, which is ridiculous.

Hi Team,

Just some observation with high tackles. I had a couple across a number of matches just 1 incident a match sometimes , with my own players only for now, but no yellow or red cards issued by referee, only Penalties in response. Not sure if cards are supposed to be issued from what was mentioned in Patch notes ? Thanks

Yes I’m having the same problem with my Guinness Premiership, I’ll try Simulating the Game it’s crashing on and see if crashes on the next round of matches, PS5 HARDEST

@JNT_BA can you please update the speed of sidestep and 360 animation for wednesday please… thats all i ask for. Then just a question when will xbox get logos on the grass for super rugby???

It’s not just XBox, it’s needed on PS5 too. I bet it needs including on PC too.

The only licensing is the scoreboard, all grounds require pitch markings, advertising boards etc.

I can only guess that this will come in an update somewhere down the line.

I think for now though they really need to sort out gameplay, game crashes and bugs.

No pun intended with the word bugs :ant:.

Series X Hardest

Just a quick one, playing as the All Blacks, my defensive line went MIA during the match, with only Telea on the wing and no one else.

Also, a few bullet passes into orbit which im sure youre aware of.

Lastly, advertising in all stadiums and on the pitch pleeeeease!

Can you make it so that when we play online and the opponent doesn’t touch their controller for 1 minute, for example, the match ends with an automatic disconnection and a victory, please? mcfc-tmThe-Guvnor is a specialist, for example, he just has a good record because he annoys people, but he doesn’t know how to play…

Agree with the issues with the forwards joining the breakdown too late three or four join when the ball has already been passed away by AI.

I Simmed the game that was crashing (Exeter v Newcastle) then played the next game and that was fine,
