Its actually crazy and so disappointing that we as Users/Players need to make the game more interesting for ourselves with regards to Team Creations, Jersey/Kit creations and all other types of ways for us to kinda enjoy the game. Gameplay is still pants, no ability to Edit/Add players to Teams/Custom teams. I have this feeling with Us creating players and Teams, Big Ant won’t try to pursue the Adding and Removing players by official teams which will be sad actually.
Haha na this was my request. I even mentioned the thing that was not at my standard. I really want them to hammer down some bugs with the manoeuvres that were really annoying me. Also means some other things get added to this week as well.
@JNT_BA, is it considered acceptable by BA that people sell some Logos, Kits, Playfaces creations in other platforms than BA forum ? Is it ok if some people are charging kits using logos made by someone else ? Just to know (nobody is particularly targeted)

National Team Squad Sizes in career mode it only allows you to select 30 players?
The current squad sizes feel a bit small compared to real-world rugby. A 38-man squad (or even up to 50 players) makes a lot more sense for national teams, offering the depth and rotation we see in real rugby. A minimum of 30 players just doesn’t offer enough flexibility. Expanding the squad size would bring the game more in line with reality.
International Friendly Fixtures in career mode
Some of the international friendlies feel unrealistic (e.g. Ireland v Kiribati, Ireland v Trinidad & Tobago, Ireland v Zimbabwe). Ireland should primarily face Tier 1 teams in November, like South Africa, New Zealand, Fiji, Argentina, and Australiaall six nations teams should have home matches in October/November window while all The other tier 1 nation teams that aren’t in the six nations play at home in the July international window which doesn’t feature in the game but should. Six Nations teams playing tier 1 non six nations team in November just is the most realistic fixtures.By the way the November window is called the autumn nations series and the July international window is also a test series and it will soon be the same as the autumn nations series just the six nations teams play away against other tier 1 non six nations teams
**International Friendlies in Early July are not included in the Career mode for some reason ** A July international Window for international Friendlies Calling it international Friendlies is fine for both international windows though.
Adding more early July internationals would be great. For example, having Six Nations teams play away and face off against Pacific Nations Series teams like Fiji, South Africa, New Zealand, and Argentina more tier 1 nations teams would make for a more exciting and diverse pre-World Cup preparation.
Realism in the Game
For a more authentic experience, larger squad sizes and more realistic international fixtures are needed. These changes would make the game much closer to how rugby is played at the international level.
**Virgin Media Park & all Champions Cup group gamesin Stade de France * is incorrect as I mentioned before in multiple posts.
It would be fantastic to have Virgin Media Park added to the men’s modes, as it’s a key Irish venue. Also, having all Champions Cup games hosted at Stade de France feels limiting. A bit more variety in the stadiums would make the game better.
Left-Footed Kickers, Player Ratings, Player Positions & Scrum Caps
NATIONAL ANTHEMS
Having national anthems played before each national Game would be a cool cut scene to have as it is already included in the rwc final match.
AND the Crowds are so quiet even with max volume
Left-footed kickers need to be properly represented in the game.
Player and squad ratings should reflect current form, as some are outdated.
Player positions should be adjusted, as some players are out of position.
Scrum caps should be added for players who wear them in real life.
I have mentioned all the left footed kickers and scrum caps players and the positions in multiple posts.

Could we please make it so the hardest level is actually hard? Far too easy on hardest level. Maybe add another difficulty level? I want to be actually challenged by the AI. Much appreciated.
It’s definitely not perfect, but much improved since launch. Those things that you’re talking about are easy fixes, but yes are clearly issues. For me, personally, i can deal with those things at the moment until they fix those issues. But when im selecting the lowest rated team to control on the hardest difficulty level, and still winning by 50 points? That takes the enjoyment out of the game straight away. I’ve gone back to Rugby 08 now. Hopefully in another 12 months this game will be sorted. Im not confident though.
@JNT_BA was some attention given to custom tournaments? Perhaps some more formats that we could use? Perhaps a format where we could choose the amount of pools and how many teams advance to a knockout stage? And of course a pure knockout tournament? Also, the ability to name that tournament please. And, if possible, could we have more than 20 teams join a tournament? I would love nothing more than to be able to create a “Champion’s League” style tournament with all the clubs from The URC, Gallaghar Premiership, Superugby, and Top 14.
Everyone has their own perception of what acceptable is to be fair. Asking for any types of improvements is also fair. No one person has a right to a certain fix more than anyone else.
I agree with both of you. The gameplay needs fixing, so does the difficulty. Should not be one or the other or one before the other. Ultimately they both need attention.
No point arguing over who’s idea of broken needs fixing first you’ll never change each others mind anyway
If the game is hard in difficulty but broken and annoying to play … is a boring game. If the gameplay became great, but you can still smash teams without them scoring against you … still a boring game

Spot on Val, people will always have a different expectation of this game and I believe it has a lot to do with your past experiences. I personally believe that Rugby 08 is still the best representation of what a rugby game should be and I did not enjoy the Rugby Challenge series at all, but I realise there are people who feel differently and that’s okay.
I also know that no matter what state this game is in we will always come back and give more opinions and remarks on the game because we all want, no need it to be a good game. I have this forum open as a permanent tab on my laptop, I want to read everything and hear what other people has to say and because I would love for this game to be good and I am sure that the Big Ant team would also love nothing more than to give us just that.
They could have called it a day and cut their losses but they haven’t and no matter how frustrated you get, you have to respect that.
No problem. It’s completely fine. I think we’re both just frustrated this game isn’t the product it should be. Acceptable is probably a stretch. There’s a lot I actually like about the game and i feel if they got things right, it could be a very good game, and i do appreciate their attempts to fix things. Game play definitely needs attention, i agree. Being held up over the line and they never check try or no try…always held up is something that needs attention. How they don’t notice this? Im not sure lol. Player names under the players would be great too. Amongst many other things that need attention. I just wish the AI was better, smarter. Like if I’m playing on hardest, i expect that playing on that difficulty level will take months of work and practice before im winning on a regular basis. I’m hopeful this next update has stuff for both of us…fingers crossed
