Please add the possibility to save lineups or make changes more easily. (easily move from top to bottom of the list, ability to sort players). Maybe an automatic selection based on stats/ age/ energy ?
Make the effects of training visible (+1-2 in green, - in red)
More injuries/ cards / fatigue
For now, you can cross the entire season with the same players, It lacks a bit of realism.
Thanks
The licensing thing he mentioned ages ago only related to the players position being shown instead of the playerâs name. Apparently the players name only got shown if the player had been approved by the players club.
The AI name plate disappearing has been an issue since launch and looking by R25 and RL26 not something they know how to fix.
@Valhalla_Vagabond Iâm not sure a copy paste from RL26 can save this game. I had very little hope of significant improvements but this post from JNT felt like the nail in the coffin. Two games released just months apart but one clearly on a far superior game engine.
I guess we will see what happens this week. We know we are getting the WRWC, which is a nice to have and something Iâll play while JNT has hinted at a complicated overhaul, as well as balancing to fends and break tackles, which we may see this week. However from the initial Future of Rugby 25 thread weâve seen the aerial catching, a positive imo change to player positioning/formation and a few new refs. We really need to see substantial changes in this weekâs update and the next otherwise the game really will be dead.
The one thing I really want to see is proper pods with forwards setting up in different positions off the 9 and the 10 and the backline setting up accordingly. Iâm pretty resigned to the fact we wonât be getting complex madden style plays in this game but Iâd like to see simply tactics to change where the pods set up.
@JNT_BA with the last couple of updates, the bug is back where if the home team has an official home stadium, it randomly reverts to stad-de-france for the match. Please fix, as this should be easy
Was hoping they would add these pod formations in rl26 since most teams run them. Rugby 20 had this system running good. 10 and 12 sweeping around was a game changer.
@Paaboi you mean R25 not RL26 right? Never played Rugby 20 or Rugby 22, couldnât get past the cartoon graphics and the clunky animations. Did see the pod system watching a few videos so know what you mean. Rugby 25 had pods in Early Access but they were removed. Only reason I can think is that they were badly implemented and that without any momentum in tackles they were ineffective and just meant you lost ground no matter what happened.
I havenât played rugby 25 for a few months but Iâm pretty sure there was some sort of pod formation last time I played but wasnât working as it should. Nah I was hoping before rl26 was released that they would have added some different formations in their set plays. Some pod shapes running off dummy half would have sweet. Rugby 20 graphics was rubbish but at least the gameplay made some sense of a game of modern rugbyâŚ
High hopes but i also hole @JNT_BA and team knows if they fail us. He will need to block everyone cos the frustration will get to a point of no return. Im a Aussie supporter Born and live in S.A and we have a lot of lekke swear word or am i wrong @Plaasvark
This was a strange weekend for Rugby. Thereâs this competition that New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Argentina are taking part in, but I have no idea what they mean⌠they call it âThe Rugby Championshipâ, never heard of it. Thatâs not even the weirdest part, before each match the teams lined up and sang random songs and New Zealand even did this thing where they were yelling at Argentina.
World Rugby should get with the program, we do not see these things in our game.
Thatâs disappointment. I thought we would have a Wife Carrying 26. Here we go for 2 years of wait again. I hope it wonât be in Early Access and that the race will be smoothly implemented with good lines.
Quand Wife Carrying 28 ?
@Peter who is watching The Rugby Championship ? Bangladesh D10 recorded on phone and watched on replay is for the real ones
