Not sure if this is the correct forum…but here goes. The last few weeks I have been playing Rugby League 26 and really enjoyed it. Gameplay is very good, be a pro mode is next level awesome and the academy works great for editing and creating players.
Now my question is, is it not possible with the next level modders out there to create union teams on Rugby League 26? Yes I know the rules are different, no rucks, no lineouts but the game is so customizable that you can change the amount of phases each team get, you can even change the points awarded for tries and penalties to rugby union. I am a sucker for a be a pro mode and imagine playing as Sasha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Dupont or Will Jordan on the World stage.
I played around a bit with jersey creations but I am a noob with these things. Is there any modders out there that will actually give this a go? I believe there will be players enjoying this. And yes I have both Rugby 25 and Rugby League 26. I probably have played League more in the last 2 weeks than I played Union in the last year.
Clearly you know nothing. There are 12 professional teams in the United States, there are over 900 colleges and university Rugby teams in the US, they have a National Men’s team and Women’s XV teams and Men’s & Women’s International Sevens teams with well over 100,000 players in the US and soon to host the Men’s RWC in 2031 and the Women’s RWC in 2033. Soccer was nothing in the U.S, then they hosted the Soccer World cup and now they have Soccer leagues all over the US, the same is projection they have with the Rugby World Cup that it will open the doors for Rugby to become a major player in the U.S … they have already projected over billions in revenue when the US host the 2031 RWC. Do your research/

Not sure when they played, but they should play the games during the NFL of season, So it does not compete against football. I personally do not like watching American football anymore, (used to follow all the stats as a kid) just got so commercialized (every 2 seconds “back in a moment folks” in a commercial break, only good for parties.

Any chance @JNT_BA of the player stats pages being built out a bit? When changing lineups ahead of games or a match - the summary stats aren’t the greatest (ie. I can see “Strength” but can’t tell if someone is a better tackler or tackle breaker etc)

Agreed - my rosters full and because we can’t remove random non-springboks taking up precious slots (ie. Ruan Venter? Andre Hugo?) I can’t get all current players in!

There also seems to be an invisible Peter Steph Du Toit rated 94. He doesn’t visually come up as a player you can see when you scroll through the players on the other roster menu.
Can anyone explain how to complete in scrums and up n unders? I cannot work out the mechanics of either so lose every single one. Very frustrating
