To make the game more even, realistic, and playable can you please make Teams and players ratings visible to both players in online mode. Having teams and players with 99 ratings is unrealistic and makes the the game uncompetitive. Make the game an even playing field Online especially.
Will we ever see pitch damage, muddy players etc? I know there is so much more to work on however if this is a different team to gameplay team, will this ever be done? Games in the 90âs has this, surely we can get this in 2026? Adds to realism.

That hasnât worked since like the first few patches many moons ago. And when it did do something, it never did anything:) Having said that they have improved the rucking considerable and added possibility of adding up to 5 (those key moments) and removing player, but the rucking system is working fairly well now. They just need to fix the Y (tackle, stand, and jackle) and add holding the ball and rucking infringements to the AI mostly and hands in the ruck. Once you figure it out, it does work fairly well. Although still figuring out some.

Against the AI, it is, stop smashing buttons and pick the times you add players. Donât add 5 players every ruck wanting to jackal every single phase. Itâs not a bad system, just needs tunning and missing some elements. If they can put everything together can be one of the best rucking systems. This is the part of the game that really distinguishes it from league play. So for me rucks are probably the most important aspect of the game.

Allow play to continue during injuries.
Add a height slider to all camera options.
Gameplay sliders and additional difficulties.
Fix Rucks.

I have a few non gameplay related things would love to see in the game
1 being able to change the style of competition
2 kick off times in competition
3 being able to choose referee
4 Being able to use official kits on custom teams
5 able to change national squads
6 having the benches appear on screen before the game after the line-ups appear
7 when driving the mauls towards the line I think the maul should go to ground with the player grounding the ball

there is no jackaling. rucks are an absolute mess, just like the rest of the game.
Theres no rhyme or reason to the rucking the absolute basics do not work. We have all had endless occasions where players stand around the fringes watching even though you try to add them. Or multiple players in a ruck totally un opposed unable to jackal or attempt a turnover.
Na, if you play the game like real rugby, the rucks play fairly good, if you think your going to steal every other phase, then your looking to play an arcade version of rugby, most of the time the rucks play out pretty good. System definitely missing some elements, in which I believe they will add because they tried to implement early on. You have to know when to jackal and watch the ruck meter when to see when you have an advantage to go for the steal, or counter ruck. I spent hours and hours just testing the rucking system, and although not the best system yet, I can see that if they fine tune it and the original intended features it can be a good system. Donât smash the bind button on every phase. Lots of times will get a steal turnover just adding 2 players on defense, if the opposite team get isolated, and they are lacking ruck support. In those occasions you add 4 or 5 then go for the steal, you miss the early steal opportunity, then again there are times you do need to add 3-5 to do a counter ruck, I use the ruck meters and the visuals during play to anticipate how I approach the ruck, but every phase is different, on offense many times I only add 1 or 2 to the ruck for a quicker played ball, or for a pick and go from the ruck, there are many ways to approach the ruck in this game, having said that this against the AI on hard difficulty, not sure how it play out on 1 vs 1 human player.

Correct, that is what they need to work back into the game, the original tackle/stand/jackal when the offense is isolated. Occasionally, you can pull of a 1 player steal/jackal, the problem is it looks more like a counter ruck animation, so the action is there but the animation doesnât match, I have mentioned this in previous post, the AI is able to just steal and jackal and the animation does look good, weird, on occasion you do get a jackal, but the animation just switches to possession, so you jackal/steal and then you bind more players, it like a passive steal. They need to fix the animation to match the intended move, but at least the ruck plays out that you get possession, itâs just the animation doesnât always match up to the entended action, the end result is the same though, which is possession. They said they are still working on the system, and I believe once they get all the animations sorted and add in proper rucking infringements, it can be a very good system. I just think other areas of the game need more fixing, like sidesteps(one of the worst in rugby gaming history) and lack of set plays. Other then that game does have some fun rugby play, I see myself purposely trying to get the ball to certain players depending on what I am trying to achieve. On rucks it seems to help when you can switch quickly to the closest rucking player when going for the steal. This seems to help the counter rucks in particular.
We are approaching 2 years since early access release, and the absolute fundamentals of rugby union are missing. That ship has sailed.

Not sure how anyone would try and say the ruck system is good when no one seems to know what you need to do with any clarity. Now rucks are my area of expertise specifically, I have spent my entire life in a ruck ⌠I even hold my birthday parties in a ruck, I shower in a ruck ⌠and I can assure you ⌠they are not like they are in this game.
The rucks are easy to do with just 3 man, 5 men makes zero difference to be honest. The outcomes are largely random and although you can look at any ruck and try and normalise it and explain it away saying that it could happen in a game ⌠it is not the point. In a video game players not only want rucks to behave authentically but they want to:
1: Know what inputs and timings are expected at a ruck
2: Clearly see what the consequences of their inputs and timing are during the ruck
3: Have a clear indication as to what the outcome of a ruck is
And I do not just mean placing giant flashing icons and bars everywhere necessarily, it could be reflected with clear animations but either way, players want to understand what is happening better. From my experience this game does not tick any of those boxes correctly in its current form. Rucks are the most consistent thing in rugby, if there was some clarity around this area players may feel they have better control of the game outcome than they do at present.
