Just wondering as the season approaches if there will be a 2026 update with logos, playing strips and 2026 draw when you start career mode. Would be a great addition even if it was a small fee to download
Shouldnât be an extra fee to download this kind of thing. Rugby League â26â should feature all the details of the 2026 season from which this game bases itself on.

I played a game on the weekend, the NRLW Grand Final. My five-eight, getting close to the tryline, dives early to avoid getting tackled by the fullback. I play the game with the behind view, so I dove, saw it being very close, and the ref signal the try. Great. But my prop was awarded the try. So I checked the replay.
Five-eight odds on to score, dives early.
Seems like sheâs going to slide over the line.
LOSES the ball short.
It then rolls over the tryline, and my prop dives on it to score the try.
The ref gave it.
Even though itâs my team that scored it, it was a quirky one. Iâm glad it wasnât scored against me, especially in a GF if the game was tight (it wasnât ⌠my team was up by plenty at the time), but Iâve not seen this happen before.

⢠Are the 2026 team lists going to be fully updated (transfers, rookies, mid-season moves etc)?
⢠Any stadium name changes coming? (Sponsorship deals change pretty quick these days.)
⢠Will we see the new 2026 jerseys added in?
⢠And are there any updates planned for the crowd chants / atmosphere?
Iâve been playing a lot of Cricket 26, and the way theyâve added interviews, crowd reactions, and extra atmosphere stuff really makes it feel alive. Would love to see Rugby League 26 get that same treatment â especially with team-specific chants and bigger game vibes.
Gameâs got a solid base, just keen to know whatâs coming next

When are we getting the new rosters and updated leagues the uk season has started, the Aussie league is about to start, same for the womenâs. Iâm bored of using players who either donât play for a specific team anymore or who have retired. Might just be the tism

I had set my sliders and made them perfect, the game was pretty fun again, one of the recent updates or a glitch has changed my sliders and made the game unfun again.
Please big ant we need the new teams that have been relegated or new players joining new clubs when will this update come out?

Does anyone know why itâs the same 4 players receiving updates for each club each time on pro team. Why is there about 9 versions of George Williams? Why is there about 7 Matt Duftyâs, the latest weeks and weeks after Warrington paid him off to get rid of him yet there he is in a Warrington shirt. Surely it would make sense to release different players rather than the 7th Paul Vaughan, again, who isnât even with the club heâs being released for. Just bizarre choices really

the gameplay though is just all over the shop
not much actually reflects proper rugby league
the defensive animations are very limited therefore that one on one tackle walking the man backwards happens far too often from any which angle..that very rarely happens..just an examplle
offence well that is no good what so ever..if u actually watch rugby league none of those plays which this game has apart from the straight up one actually happen..they run around all over the shop changing plays every tackle..that doesnât happen
ive played, coached and reffed rugby and league all my life and could simplify all this for you no worries as set plays in rugby league are what we call shape therefore its all about formation..ive been jamming games since the 80s..ive played every rugby/league game there has ever been and also bought every one of big ants / tru blu rugby, league and cricket games since they first hit the shelves..lots of time and money spent so im so gutted every week to jump on after an update with high hopes but canât get thru a game..I personally donât care about the pro teams cards..they mean nothing to me..if anythingId rather unlock legend teams and players but ultimately it needs to feel like league
I find the cricket games from big ant to be most enjoyable. and that is purely because of the control scheme where you use the toggles to bat and bowl..feels much more realistic..I feel rugby league needs a bit of a control scheme overall such as sprint L3 as its only used in bursts anyway
thanks for the updates big ant ultimate respect. Can we please just have a bigger focus on gameplay now..the game looks epic! players, kits, stadiums etc are all there but gameplay is the killer

Much like yourself, I cannot force myself through at least one match on RL26. Like you, I get so excited for every update too. But man, I see weâre back to NRL field markings for Super League Games, a tiny issue but one they fixed a while ago, but somehow itâs back again. And again, no proper referee kits for Super League and still no touchline sponsor boards.
Warringtonâs new home shirt is wrong, the Hoover sponsor should be black, the colours are too dark, and the traditional style collar is actually from the fan version.
Itâs little things once again spoiling immersion and thatâs before the frustrating gameplay you already pointed out. I canât believe weâre still putting up with the one man collapsing over the tryline animation at this stage.
Again, much like you, I donât care for the online stuff and the packs etc, I want something that feels and plays like real life RL, a game Iâd enjoy playing a season mode on, but man thereâs so much potential going amiss.

Industree Group Stadium isnât in stadium select when choosing a stadium when going to play now to play a single match, can only play games at Industree Group Stadium in career mode and competition mode
I wonder if theyâve renamed St Helens Stadium to the Brewdog Stadium?
Or implemented the new Super League rules for 2026? I mean we still havenât got pitch markings so who knows.
I really wish we could see this game hit itâs potential.

Love the update. 2 things
1 - The attacking team seems to reset themselves which cancels the passing input from the dummy half.
2 - Manly home team have the incorrect shorts. They are maroon shorts home and away.

I feel for Cowboys supporters who play this game. Iâve only briefly looked at it today, but it seems, yet again, NthQld remain ignored as far as updated kits go. Same two jerseys as 2025 (complete with their 30yrs logo), which wasnât even all their kits last year.
Seems like theyâre lucky theyâre even in the game at all..!
Seems everyone forgets the teams and NRL dictate when licensed content gets released, not BA.
The reason some content got removed after release last year is because some clubs (Cowboys) got upset and told them too.
Iâm pretty confident BA would have everything ready to go and are waiting for permission, just like with NSW Cup.
Next update can we please have nsw cup? And get all players scanned and also scan all super league. Another cool thing would be pre game rituals for all stars and international teams plus all the anthems. 
Also classic teams and jerseys would be sick from old grand final matches ect.

Yeah, I know. I still feel for the NthQld fans, as itâs their team thatâs being left behind in this game. I did hear it was the Cowboys having some kind of issue with BA or the game itself. Dunno what exactly it was, but it still seems to be on-going.
