Just to be clear, I am not asking to be ‘gifted packs’.
All loot box style mechanics i have experienced till now have never hid objectives behind random chance. In games that do have this element, you either get the thing you need through earning another achievement or it becomes easy to farm through some part of the game you have unlocked.
If giving the player the option to earn a specific card is seen as a form of instant gratification, what does that say about all the achievements you already have the cards for?
Another question is how many other games already do this. If it’s widespread and everyone just accepts it then I guess that changes things. To me personally, I think it’s silly.
I’m not Level 40, but it’s stuck for me.

But with the new updates to objectives, it popped… yet the next one (Raining Goals) is still locked for me.

I know that concentration is mainly on Pro Team for the time being, but if any future titles of AFL are released by you guys could you pretty pretty please try and carry over community shared teams, stadiums, logos etc? Me and a mate are currently in the process of completing 38 custom teams with all custom players and would die for an option to carry it over to a new game in the future!
Same with Chuckinho’s work making local clubs, would hate to see all of the work that he has done go to waste in a new game.
It is something we did with both Cricket 24 and even with TIEBREAK. We made sure that the databases were compatible. It really comes down to how much is updated between the systems and games. There were some issues with Cricket as we did change how the bats work in terms of decals which then took a high number of hours to get sorted. Same with TIEBREAK, we spent a long time making sure the old stadiums were compatible.
But if we do a future title I’ll do my best to make sure it’s all carried across in the Cricket way with a clone database or pure compatibility.
Looks like we’re in blackout mode until the new season starts. LL,PC & CB menus greyed out and can’t access as well as Objectives and Level progression
@JNT_BA when the full fixture for 2025 comes out can we expect an updated season and management career mode for 2025 fixtures would really love to play the full fixture and season
So there is a gameplay change in this one for those who may want a little more control over kick targeting, but this system works very fast and may not be for everyone but I certainly had some fun playing around with it.
If you do want to play around with it I would suggest Manual With Hud to make sure you get what you are seeing.
When you make a Pass Kick for example, and you are holding a direction you will see a circle target which will indicate much more visually where you want your kick to go, this has been fun to play with to get some passing going where I’m trying to avoid congested players on the field.
