Pro Team > Coach Battles bug. On Xbox if team not eligible there is option to go Back. Normally you would use this to apply Contract to player. Now it just takes you to blank screen. Have to fully quit game.
Let me know if you find a fix.
Same issue here. I can’t change the line ups in QLD Cup coach career.
In one match it actually let a Suspended player , play and be selected in the line up on match day.

Anyone noticed that advantage rarely gets played? The amount of times the opposition knocks on and the play stops for the scrum instead of playing on, when we’re in the opposition half it doesn’t make sense.

It might be the setting you use ? I use the custom settings mostly, and i do notice that you see the knock on advantage on screen, and depending on how many metres you immediately run, you either get advantage and play on or it returns to a scrum.
When using the 2026 Super League, 1895 Cup, Challenge Cup or Championship teams in Play Now the pitch markings and presentation always default to the NRL ones.
Additionally, the entrance at Old Trafford is incorrect as teams enter from the corner tunnel instead of between the dugouts.
Update: Issue also extends outside of Play Now mode to the competitions mode and includes the England and Australian Ashes series too.
I’ve been mentioning this since the game was released, the best we got was a blank pitch but now since the new 2026 teams it’s reverted to the NRL pitch markings.
There are still no sponsors in the touchline, the referees have blank kits and several teams still have last years kits.

I have a feeling the blank pitch is because they don’t want to have a betting sponsor (Betfred, who sponsor all the RFL comps pretty much) advertised, there may even be some legalities surrounding it. The fact that you don’t get the blank pitch for the 26 teams is frustrating though. I’ve noticed too the game sometimes defaults to the wrong ball too.
Why can’t we have the option to select our own pitch markings and stadium themes?
Yeah, this whole ‘no advertising gambling companies to kids’ thing, while I approve of that, really affects the peripheral aesthetics of a game like this, where there are so many gambling companies who advertise in the sport (on jerseys, stadium names, the entire ESL competition).

No. There is no setting for it. But your current settings may not expose it as much ? I do see it though. Providing you run X metres after the Knock On it plays advantage.

Score a field goal to win a match in the final 3 minutes (in game time) many times though it will not unlock for me
How is the player run meters not matching the team run meters bug still not been fixed since launch? Players get added run meters to what they have actually ran out of nowhere on every game.
Couple of bugs in the latest update
- Short Kickoffs - Rare occasion when contested and the defending team catches the ball the the player cannot be tackled or score a try but can still move freely (unless the player passes the ball)
- Bomb kicks - When the ball is bombed and is tapped back by either the attacking or defending team who ever tapped the ball back is registered as a knock on happens 100% of the time
- Missed Field Goal - Close missed field goal that stops in goal the attacking team gets stuck and cannot select players to move, online defending team can pick up the ball and score. When against the CPU both teams just get stuck.
Just noticed the Bradford jerseys for the 2026 roster have the Championship sleeve patches. What’s the point in seperating the Northern Hemisphere clubs into cup competitions as well as leagues if they’re not going to have the logo patches. Also theres a few clubs who have their 2026 logos on their 2025 teams. Seems a bit weird.
Hull FC still have last year’s kits too, I think KR do too actually.
I’d noticed that about Bradford’s patches, I think it’s the same for York.
I’m picky, I just think the little things help immersion.

Had this happen to me this morning. First time, and to now, the only time, but thought I’d mention it anyway.
Halftime siren sounds so I attempt a field goal. It’s just short and a tad to the left. It stops in the in-goal. But no player from either team can or does chase it. Everyone just stands there on the 20m line doing nothing. After trying everything I could think of, I ended up just having to cancel the game and start it again.
I can’t seem to be able to upload the photo of the moment, but I’m sure you can picture it.
With games like this, the little details are absolutely key to the immersion of the simulation for definite. Makes it all the more disappointing how neglected the presentation is for what is over half the avaliable teams in the game.

This customer career bug needs fixing please
. When using custom teams in career the team lineups keep changing after choosing them.
Also in custom career only a 17 player bench is happening in games
for real been waiting a while for this now
