Please remove the short kick offs 2 player games are now pointless you score they short kick offs 9/10 get the ball and score it’s made it pointless and boring to play
I contacted Big Ant about the missing Super League 2026 kits, referee kits, pitch markings, sideline sponsors and renaming the St Helens Stadium and was just told that it’s all
“not something we here at the support team can answer as there are certain licensing restrictions we must comply with at this time.”
Why make a game if you can’t polish it off properly to help create decent immersion?
Who created the original kits? Why are they unable to all of a sudden?

Yes very frustrating
Had to do a new copy custom setting after the update and then was able to apply. Take a picture and redo the custom setting, I redid as custom setting 2 and erased the other custom settings, and I was able to apply. Although I am trying to figure out how to reduce the big hit tackle from the AI while still increasing the defensive intensity so that there are only rare 1 player struggle try with defense standing around watching, because I like to turn up the defense intensity slider, but also increase the effectiveness of the sidestep and fend and hitups, to counter the stronger defense. But I am wondering if more aggressive defense means the AI is more effective at big hits. It shouldn’t because there is a specific slider for big hits, and big hit ball spills.

Been trying to play a custom league coach career mode and when I get in I set my lineup for my team and go into a game and the lineup is not what I made it, it just uses the base one that is already set when I first get into the career mode.

Been experiencing a glitch with goal kicking, drop outs and kick offs where the line loops crazily rather than in the direction of the wind, so the kick goes all over the place. Only seems to be happening since the latest patch for me.
AI still only using subs 1 and 2 and none of the others, hasn’t been rectified in months or at all.
Fix this up Big Ant.

Pro Team > Coach Battles bug. On Xbox if team not eligible there is option to go Back. Normally you would use this to apply Contract to player. Now it just takes you to blank screen. Have to fully quit game.
Let me know if you find a fix.
Same issue here. I can’t change the line ups in QLD Cup coach career.
In one match it actually let a Suspended player , play and be selected in the line up on match day.

Anyone noticed that advantage rarely gets played? The amount of times the opposition knocks on and the play stops for the scrum instead of playing on, when we’re in the opposition half it doesn’t make sense.

It might be the setting you use ? I use the custom settings mostly, and i do notice that you see the knock on advantage on screen, and depending on how many metres you immediately run, you either get advantage and play on or it returns to a scrum.
When using the 2026 Super League, 1895 Cup, Challenge Cup or Championship teams in Play Now the pitch markings and presentation always default to the NRL ones.
Additionally, the entrance at Old Trafford is incorrect as teams enter from the corner tunnel instead of between the dugouts.
Update: Issue also extends outside of Play Now mode to the competitions mode and includes the England and Australian Ashes series too.
I’ve been mentioning this since the game was released, the best we got was a blank pitch but now since the new 2026 teams it’s reverted to the NRL pitch markings.
There are still no sponsors in the touchline, the referees have blank kits and several teams still have last years kits.

I have a feeling the blank pitch is because they don’t want to have a betting sponsor (Betfred, who sponsor all the RFL comps pretty much) advertised, there may even be some legalities surrounding it. The fact that you don’t get the blank pitch for the 26 teams is frustrating though. I’ve noticed too the game sometimes defaults to the wrong ball too.
Why can’t we have the option to select our own pitch markings and stadium themes?
Yeah, this whole ‘no advertising gambling companies to kids’ thing, while I approve of that, really affects the peripheral aesthetics of a game like this, where there are so many gambling companies who advertise in the sport (on jerseys, stadium names, the entire ESL competition).

No. There is no setting for it. But your current settings may not expose it as much ? I do see it though. Providing you run X metres after the Knock On it plays advantage.
