Career mode is broken. Just tried making a rookie and the season simulates everything
All up and under tap backs to your team are called knock ons , even for the AI. You can’t tap the ball back to your team, it called a knock on.

I had a moment on the weekend (I’m limited in my opportunities to play games these days) where I stripped the ball off a defender who was over the tryline (which, technically correctly was called a 2:1 strip penalty). The player tapped the ball on that spot, which was 30cm BEHIND my defensive line that was standing on the tryline. He tapped it then scored all while my players had their backs to him.
I was up by plenty, so didn’t affect the game, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone else had bad happen to them too.

BUGS IVE FOUND
REF CALLING LAST TACKLE ON 4th Tackle
There needs to be something done about short kick offs players often score consecutively after short kick offs
Consecutive palms bit ridiculous maybe a bit more realistic
Goal kicker takes the shot (ai takes over your player)
1 on 1 strip challenges and also knock on challenges some calls are ridiculous and some get away with it
Cheers there would be more but those are the main ones to me at this time.
- still no field markings in nrl finals in any mode
- No sponsors on goal post pads at bulldogs home games
- No advertising boards between field and start of setting at Accor looks really bare around the field
- No win loss icons last 5 column in competition mode
- No Anzac jersey even though Anzac round is done
- Have to manually drop back wingers on 5th tackle
- No adverting boards around Vegas stadium on any of seating levels and no yellow goal posts stadium looks really bare
- Need to ad leading points scorer stat thru the year in competition and career mode

Now that you mention it, yeah, once or twice yesterday I noticed a player in my team really looked lethargic. Didn’t think anything more of it until I read your post!
Yep, none of this stuff in Super League, either.
Two or three teams still have last years kits.
The referees have blank kits. We’ve got NRL markings and no touchline sponsors.
Warrington’s home kit has a big white collar, that’s on the fan version but not the player one. The shirt sponsor is white in the game, black in real life.
St Helens stadium has the old name (It’s the Brewdog Stadium now).
Bradford and York still have Championship patches on their sleeves.
Even a bare pitch would be preferable as most weeks that’s actually the case in league games.

Melbourne Storm 2026 Home and away Kits have the wrong shorts and design
- Pattern on the 2026 shorts are the 2024-2025 one
- 2025 Melbourne storm Shorts have the wrong sponsor on the back (meant to be lotus living not big ant games)
-Away shorts on the Melbourne 2026 are meant to be white as well as having the wrong design

Since we’re talking about incorrect shorts, I’m pretty sure I’ve noticed that St.George-Illawarra’s Vegas shorts aren’t the red dragon emblem that they were in real life. In this game, they’ve used the Dragons’ standard home shorts for the Vegas kit.

Why is the ‘Highlights’ option often greyed out with a padlock symbol on it throughout games even at half time and full time?
On PS5 the pass button icons above players are tiny for me. Anyone else?
How does this game get worse with every update

Any time I’ve looked at the highlights of a game, it’s usually one big tackle, a ball strip, and maybe the last 3 seconds of a try being scored (the grounding part). That’s it. I’ve had a game where I’ve scored plenty of tries, some pretty spectacular ones off kicks, and a good team try involving offloads, a cut-out pass into a player hitting the gap, ect, and the ‘highlights’ reel at the end of the game were the ones I described at the top of this post: a big hit, a ball strip, and the dive over the line portion of the fantastic team try (ie: the least exciting moment of the whole movement!).
You’re not missing too much if you can’t access your games’ highlights..!

we need more collars and better stitching e.g. The stitching that goes across the collar bone. and better customizing. i always struggle to put the logos in the right spot on the custom jerseys

I got an update to 4527 last night, swear its now really buggy. Anyone else on ps5?
Yeah, seemed there was two updates in quick succession for some reason?
- AI still only uses 2 subs either 1 and 2 or 1 and 4 hasn’t been fixed since launch.
- Player run meters and team run meters still don’t match it’s like certain players get doubled up run meters how can something so basic be missed out does BA not check details within a game, do they even play the game to check it over before it goes out?
